Looks like a massage crossbar for us here , although I’m happy with a dusting

Light covering here.  A promising shower heading down through Northumberland all but pettered out by the time it reached here.

However... a reminder that NE is great for snow if the wind direction is right. NW or NNW wind is dry and sunny every time!

Yep Scarborough should have got the goodies on this occasion.

It's always that little indent between Northumberland to Scarborough that catches us out in these coastal events.

Got a slight dusting, very cold but very nice.

Will be happy to have a little break though after today ( sure the boiler will as well ) before hopefully an interesting February.

After Feb please bring me spring.

I don’t think this could be any closer to us

Very slight dusting here this morning which was a bit of a surprise but that'll be it. Redcar to Whitby in the firing line

We were all so close but once again wind direction spoilt it. There is some heavy showers just off the coast Whitby is about to get them all good luck.
Freezing though.

Edit. Soo close.

Decent covering here enough for a snow ball fight but only just

About 3 miles of a pasting. If only the wind had gone north easterly

East Cleveland looks the sweet spot

Wow, well what a wonderful hour that was, good couple of cm here, what a lovely walk getting covered in snow.

Think that's it now but having waited 5 days for something like that it was lovely.

On to Feb now

It's looking like a very mild end to January once the cold snap ends tomorrow

I think the rain warning is mostly Cumbria, we're under the wind warning. They can have it, I've seen enough rain the last 14 months to last a lifetime.

Haha, if only eh.

Strange because we did do decent this morning, good couple of cm which is still sticking around but yet I went for a drive and around 300 yards from my house there was virtually nothing on the road out to Boro.

Obviously we caught the very edge of the beefy shower that went over around 8am, assuming Scarborough / Whitby got a good downfall from that.
