Well after having a cigar instead…nah not really 🥴

It’s been an eventful couple of weeks…nite nite and I’ll see ya all in Feb 😉🤗

Maximum gust of 45mph here, so nothing noteworthy really. It's becoming clear that I live in such an uneventful part of the country weather-wise, perhaps one of the most boring places to be when it comes to extreme weather.

This storm hasn’t amounted to much here has it? Seems like we get no interesting weather

Pretty much the only area in England with gusts only in the 40s. Sums it up lol

Windstorms usually aren't that notable for low lying central areas of England, but I think Isha has been slightly stronger than a lot of recent ones.

Had storm Eunice been 50-100 miles further north, with some of the insane output of a sting jet right over us happening, would have made it to one of the strongest in decades.

Yeah it's weird, nationwide Amber warning, carnage everywhere apparently, and it was just a normal gusty day here, nothing unusual about it at all. Must be in some sort of wind shadow.

Much calmer this morning and didn’t wake up to destruction, unless everything is piled high in a corner somewhere 😂

Same as many others really no need for the extensive amber warning especially for my area. It was a nothing event for us. Luckily I guess... but even nationwide I dont think it was that eventful.

I say bring on summer at least we may feel a heatwave haha

Yeah bit of noise around 5-9pm but that was it. As for the cold spell, I didn't see a single flake of snow. Roll on warmer weather, hope we see a fat Bartlett for February.

saw a bit here, but best by far was 2-3 Dec, as for Feb, certainly wouldn't say no to an early Spring, but dreading it will be low after low and storms

Windier this evening than at any time on during Isha. Just goes to show what a slight difference in wind direction can mean.

The House is shaking here in Northants, the winds are sustained and very fast. This is definitely worse than Isha.

@Don ha ha, nice one...! I was thinking about 'booty' and 'wind' and realised that's not a good combination...! Joking aside - yes, this sounds more dramatic than the other day! My fences just about survived the weekend, I will be well miffed if they give up the ghost now...still, the price of 'mild', eh...?! Give me clear, sunny skies and nice quiet still night at minus 5 (or more!) anytime...

🤣

Yes, I would much prefer -5, calm and a nice snow cover!  Sounds like the bins are having a dance and think there will be a bit of a mess in the morning, but hopefully no damage! 😬

Seems worse outside tonight than the other night! Was surprised when I left work just how warm it felt too.

The wind is really howling here, haven't heard it like this since Arwen.
