A great day for weather enthusiasts..

A few heavy showers we just missed this afternoon, but a real beauty with hail and even snow flakes hit me about 30 mins ago....

Back to my memories of the 60s for real some real april showers,

Proper sunshine again now......

Had hail then snow approx 6.30pm

 

shower hitting now , looks like sleet ❄️☔️

 

hopefully building snowmen and sledging tomo 👏🏻👏🏻

Beautiful late afternoon/ evening here, nice sunshine, interesting sky, some good colours emerging. Locally, the weather wasn't too bad today. A 'typical' April day of old...

Chilly last night! I don't know what the temperature fell too, but it felt nippy, to say the least. But we're rewarded with a glorious start to the day this morning, sunny, clear etc. Couldn't ask for more. Yesterday was reasonable for sun too, but I did get caught in some of those evening downpours, rather sharp showers!

Off to Brussels for work next week and then on to Den Haag, always interesting to have a change of scene but I don't think that the weather is going to be significantly different to here.

Minus 1c/30f in Pershore this morning. ! Actually the weather station is about two and half miles northeast of Pershore town😊

 Dancerwithwings Yeah, it's stunning atm, isn't it! With all of the rain giving us rich, verdant greens, having bright sunshine on it all is nigh on perfect! My lawn is looking very good...

Yep Solly and DWW..

I registered 0.4C min also -  at 06:30.

 Also there was a very white ground frost on my grass and roof this morning!!

Gorgeous morning on the golf course which looked fantastic with the deep green turf and many different colours of flowering trees and shrubs.  

PS Just started raining again!

First air frost in a while last night (-1.4 °C) and a decent, chilly, bright start to the day. Max 13.2 °C. Deteriorated later on, though, with gloomy overcast conditions and a little light rain. Wind got up, too.

A gloomy and grey start here with a few light showers. Improving now though with sunshine and scattered clouds. This is reasonable spring fare.

 Weather Enthusiast91 Yep, definitely with you on that. I don't really mind it cool (it's all relative!), but the sunshine makes a big difference. It feels as though the weather is slowly, very slowly, improving...

Done some stat round ups, mainly rainfall and sunshine in post below. Mid part of this April has seen an improvement to the first part of the month. Though could be better, at the same time could also be much worse!

Another really stunning start to the day locally, bright and sunny. At least we're seeing some more sunshine these last few days, albeit with April showers thrown in.

Yep Solly a real cracker..

 However was shocked to see the temp had dropped to -1.2C at 06:00, in my backyard.
