This evenings dusk. Seems very blue and bearly a sign of redness.

Well done brilliant Manchester City.

Another fabulous sunny and frosty start, overnight low of -1.4C. Some rain overnight tonight, but otherwise a decent week coming up by the looks of it with plenty of dry weather.

Overnight minimum temperature of -3.6c. Blencathra with full snow cover looking magnificent against the cobalt blue skies.

High winds in Nevada and Utah sweep in huge amounts of tumbleweeds, surrounding houses.

Can be used a quiet times in the thread.

Lovely jubbly day, blue sky bits of cloud and sunshine.  There's  a bit of a wind though, temp edging it's way towards double figures.

Slight frost this morning and the birds are getting quite noisy first thing.

Lovely sunny ☀️ day… chilly in breeze but felt warmth of sun out of the breeze… 3 hours gardening and quick walk into town… blitzed bathroom with new shower fitted… gammon egg & chips for tea…

much of this week is meant to be dry and sunny after some rain overnight tonight…

great Aurora 🌈 last night… very pretty 🤩

Despite abundant sunshine, the fells have retained a deep cover from 550m up, well the east and north aspects have. The Coniston - Bowfell - Scafell to High Raise range looking resplendent white. The cold snowy start to March is redeeming the snow season somewhat, but only a very little... We maxed at 8 degrees today.

Had Worse  Thanks for your concern lol  Still out in it but dragged along by Terriers! "I'm not dead yet" but the big ones in Alpine conditions like that are well behind. Head says Yes -  Legs definately say No The recovery times getting longer. Still got tons of memories (and scars) when the Lake District was quiet we could even get a parking space in the ODG  - could write a book albeit not a hardback lol  @Rush2019 might know a song called "Losing  It" Some of yesterdays images coming through were stunning  - the Hills will always be perpetual  AW said - life really is brief.
