 Rain Lady aye same here.

lovely day while I’m in work, dark threatening clouds on the way home,

raining before I could get changed and get the lawn mower out.

never mind there’s always tomorrow.

An absolute torrential downpour went through here an hour or so ago. Very localised according to radar.

Spontaneous excursion out.

Bowness.

Usually always have given the town a massive swerve for obvious reasons. But was pleasantly manageable.
Sun finally gave way to overcastness.

Some interesting formations building up N.

Morning All.

Massive gusts of wind shaking the house. Checked Man Airport for wind strength and its only 8 knots!

Its dry and partly cloudy so ill cut the grass today and let the cuttings get blown away.

Don't think the video does justice to how windy it is.

A heavy shower at the end of a generally pleasant day yesterday. There seems to have been a bit of rain overnight, judging by our garden furniture, but a dry, bright start to the day and quite warm again, with little or no wind to speak of.

Morning.  Been calm here, just a slight breeze.  Min temp last night was a mild 11°C.  It's quite overcast currently, need the sun to boost temps towards the 20 mark.  Some dark cloud to the south.  Airport Taf has showers mid pm.  Some beautiful shades of colour in the sky pre sunrise.

Chris.R   Met Office thunderstorm warning further north today, but not far enough.  Some CAPE available around the Welsh English border. (UKV).  May produce a surprise?  Radar watch and radio on later.

Sun out so decided to go out in a sleeveless vest top but regret it as that wind is pretty chilly 🥶. Whether it warms up more later remains to be seen.

Just about scraped into the yellow warning area here. Doubtful of seeing anything however.

Nearly 800J CAPE around Chester later that's quite respectable.

Just resecured fence panels along footpath with corks… feels like a hairdryer out there… warm, humid and still gusting 40-50mph…

Cheshire Freeze certainly doesn't look like it at the moment, with the sun out and feeling pleasantly warm in a gentle breeze. However, I had the same thought yesterday and we ended up with a heavy shower late afternoon, so we may not be completely out of it yet.
