About time Will.  Let's hope it's not the last of 2024..........

Is it really 2024?  I typed 2014 initially.   2024.  Doesn't look right.

Please close them and keep them shut.  Yesterday was beautiful.  Today was a bit grim.   Don't let that stuff out.........

A light shortlived dousing of rain at teatime otherwise a dry day, contrary to the forecasts. There is a batch of heavy convective rain over E Yorkshire whether it makes it here remains to be seen..

Morning.  Tis a bit grim, dark, misty and damp.  Lots of snails around the garden this morning.  8.6°C, I've got the heating on for a quick blast.  I'm buying a tent today, for when I'm out on long hikes, there, that's jinxed our summer now. 😂🏕

A damp start to the day and looking at the forecast, not much of an improvement likely up here in the hills at least until later this afternoon and possibly well into tomorrow.

It’s not our turn for the football tickets this afternoon so looks like we are off down to the other end of the Irwell for a mooch around with a bit of shopping and a few beers to keep essential hydration levels up.

tomorrow is then hopefully a few dry hours spent tidying up in the garden.

Cloudy and damp to start the day here. I was hoping to go and watch some cricket at Old Trafford today, but not sure how much play there will be.

Just walked down to the town centre to post a birthday card and it’s more damp in the air than actually raining or drizzling but it’s miserable all the same.

it reminds me of a typical November day.

A damp start, looks like we had a decent dose of rain overnight. A very slow clearance of cloud expected with drizzle on and off.

 Had Worse aye true

I should have said how the weather used to be before me needing a car for work completely screwed up the climate for us all.

Definitely been as wet as the Forth for the last 10 months. Think we need to repel the Forth for a few months.
