Morning All, it's one of those have everything days it seems. It's windy, overcast, no wait a brighter spell, no wait heavy drizzle now.

The overnight low of 10.1°C at: 06:42, has hauled itself slowly up to 11.3°C, RH92% with a fresh breeze in from the SSW - W.

A perfect day to remove any cobwebs with a walk along the pier.

I slipped in the mud in the garden and landed flat on my face in chicken poo. All right in front of my neighbour and a workman. Got up with mud on my face ...

Ordered a truck with a grabber today to clear big compost area.Flat fee...300 quid.Hardly anywhere sells single bales of straw either.

Have to say the outlook looks very uninspiring, a continuation occasionally wet, mostly west or south westerly driven and incredibly cloudy. Despite the sunny January looks like the first quarter of the year will end up incredibly dull.

Just ordered 36 small English Yew bare root plants, as we're getting a bit close to the end of planting season. All for what will hopefully be two low clipped square hedges.

Morning All, seemingly another one of those, bit of everything days. The overnight low of 8.9°C at: 06:09 has climbed up to 12.2°C, RH89% and a light breeze in from the SSW, under partly cloudy skies.

From Above the infrared view this morning picking out the bands of showers nicely

 Dorsetbred Just living in the moment.

Don't like the look of the heavier stuff off NW France. Looks like more than the apps were forecasting this morning, for later on.

Not sure how but there was an hour (whooppee!) with decent sunshine mid morning.

Shame it’s been sandwiched by showers, drizzle, gloom and wind!
