Fell for the little old lady 3 card trick yet again.Lawns about 70 metres by 25..grass about 8 inches long.Completely filled her green rubbish bin,sweated,cursed,lured in by her homemade fruit cake and coffee lol

The cake was devine.Another of my eightysomethings still gardens,has the best garden ive ever seen.I dont work for her,just visit now she makes me a cake every time.She forgets,she falls,she injures herself,but gardening and cake making she has few rivals,they keep her alive.One of a kind,that lady.

Sunny at times today although mostly hazy, still better than anything over the last dew days. Felt quite pleasant earlier in the day but later the breeze got up a bit which was a bit on the cool side.

 Andy Bown Same here, we lived in Frome for 9 years, and I have noticed that the weather is marginally more settled over there. 

Shepton is a bl.. dy wind and  rain magnate.  We're talking about downsizing when we retire in a couple of years. Probably go back over that way again.

Morning All, another dry start, wow two in a row! The overnight low of 7.9°C at: 06:19, has risen to 11.9°C, RH91% and a light breeze from the WSW under mainly cloudy skies.

From Above some breaks in the west of the region

Dry again this morning. Looked at the radar and have risked putting washing on the line. First time this year, especially as the garden is slow to get sun and warmth being North facing.

Temp is 16.7C so feeling mild.

Well I'm lucky today. I must come under the SE the sun is breaking through some. Hazy like yesterday mostly but some brighter. Up at 17c

A nicer day today with 14.C and the sun managing to poke through the clouds, yesterday was slightly warmer but under grey skies until the late evening

Had washing on the line for the days and last night, with the warmth yesterday it did well, today somewhat slower but enough air movement to dry it even though we lacked the suns' warmth.

Suggestion is for this weakening feature to cross the area early tomorrow, so the washing is coming in tonight.

Meanwhile you have to love GEFS, hope ability with this chart for Saturday
