Gloomy start to the day.

Early Drizzle now some sunshine.

 The rest is forming nicely in the channel at the moment, so looking to be damp later and seems to be set to track northwards, so we are just on its western fringe at the moment, from a track perspective.

Overnight the low of 8.1°C at: 05:04, currently 11°C, RH77% and light air movement from the S.

 Dorsetbred thanks. That earlier rain died out but more has now formed on that Western flank and it’s raining here now. Radar shows it to be showery and the sky around here is a mix of clear slots and very dark based clouds.

I was very shocked to wake up to sun. It was meant ot be raining first thing. Most bizarre!

 offerman lol I was just about to report the same is happening in Warminster! Large blobs of wet snow within the heavy rain. Makes it a bit more interesting I suppose!

Had a gust of 46mph as that front moved past. 

Wind speed got to 20mph as well. That wasn't in the forecast.
