Sunny all day until late this afternoon when it clouded over and felt fairly warm while the sun was out.

Just been out to check the chooks and it's still warm out there at 13c!

A few spots of rain first thing, but the band of light rain is out to the West.

Plenty of Undulatis to the South followed me home.

Drizzling here, usual grey landscape.

Really hope the forecast settling down and higher SLP next week also brings clearer skies and sunnier skies.  Really don’t want a dry, but overcast & cloudy period again.

Also, it appears much of the West Country has a recently issued, MetO Yellow advisory for thunderstorms early hours;

Meanwhile peaking at 15.0°C at: 14:46 here, off out to put me tomatoes in the greenhouse, and see how my seeds are coming on.

Out walking and my it’s very muggy and oppressive out here. Yuk.

Heading for the coast this evening. Like Mapantz, i’m not expecting to see storms there tonight, just a lot of heavy rain.

Much more chance here in Wilts. So for my fellow Wiltshire and east Somerset resident posters (and anywhere else in our region) here enjoy if one or more show up.

A lively line of discrete storms emerging over the central southern area. Tracking NW. Let's see what we get of it.

Muggy here as well, it was quite warm earlier whilst i was moving stuff around at work, the rain started on the trip home.

Electrical storms now crossing the channel. Looks like the good ol' SE will get all the action. Or the first round of it, at any rate.

Absolutely pouring down outside... seemingly out of nowhere. Atmosphere is certainly ripe for last minute shenanigans.

That was good fun. Quite the light show from 2:30am to 4am. All CC, lighting up the sky. Lots of rain, so took refuge in the greenhouse.

An absolute drenching here on the coast last night but as expected no t-storm. Fair play to the Met Office, the warning mentioned the main area at risk of thunderstorms was the northern and eastern parts of the warning area and that appears to have turned out to be the case.

Westbury took a direct hit by the sounds of it knocking out the electricity supply on the railway line in the Westbury area.

All fizzled out before it got here, saw some lightning and heard somme rumbles circa 5 this morning but that was it. Glad some of you got in on the action
