Utterly miserable few days since I posted those photos on Sunday. Cold wet and grey. Unsurprisingly some flooded roads on the drive home. Temperature 5.3c.

Yes, quite difficult to achieve but today has managed to be worse than anything in the last few days. Steady rain, a cold wind off the North Sea and the temp varying between 4.5 and 6C. Currently steady rain at 4.7C

At least by the weekend we will have lost the Easterly winds so perhaps warm rather than cold rain?

Better not jinx it but we have that strange orange thing in the sky called the sun. It's almost a miracle after yesterday! Very nice start to the day indeed

Similar here, it's stopped raining and the sun is making an attempt to be seen. Still only 2.3C though.

Yep beautiful start to the day here too, nice to see the sun for once. Overnight and into Saturday looks like an absolute deluge though, the met office text forecast even mentions the "S" word for tonight and into the morning over the hills so enjoy the sun while it's here 🤣

Trying to look on the bright side, the wind's dropped and it's only light rain so far this morning. Still as gloomy as a badger's rectum and lots colder....

Well the badger's expelled us: emerges gasping and blinking from the squalid orifice into quite a nice afternoon, albeit rather chilly!

Absolutely hammering down with wet snow here but not lying except for a slushy covering on the car windscreens!

Earlier snow turned to rain for a while but it's back to heavy snow and everything is white although it's a really just a slushy covering!

Heading down to the airport now and lower down surface water and flooding is a bigger issue! Horrible day!

Wet snow here too but not sticking except for a little slush on car roofs and screens. Further Inland with just a little altitude there is a layer of wet snow.

0.5C and snowing here too, managing to give us a dusting on the ground, but not as much as @Hawesy has though. Bet that's another novelty for him too. 😂

No snow/sleet here just mega wet. All roads flooded and rivers very high.

On the plus side we get a new puppy tomorrow!

We’ve had snow here too. Similar to elsewhere, quite slushy. We’re at sea level so quite a surprise.

Ravelin Certainly is a novelty. But I'm expecting a lot from next winter in my new home 😊

I'm only at 70m asl - I've seen some photos from friends at 250m in Fife and they have several cms.
