  1. Christ, the longer it goes the worse this sounds. One man 'helped pull children from Plaza Tower elementary school'. Correspondant from Channel 4 in tears reporting. Reed Timmer on potential Tornado towards Pauls Valley.
  2. I suspect they will be trying to keep themselves safe or helping others in the destruction and in that case, an internet forum doesn't take priority.
  3. Tornado being mentioned in Meaker. Confirmed - Tornado on the ground 5 miles from Meaker.
  4. I hope the blue 'mats' that were on the floor next to that ambulance weren't bodies, don't mean to speculate but it certainly looked that way. Atrocious.
  5. http://www.broadcastify.com/listen/ctid/2182 Local Police Frequency.
  6. Any live feeds today such as Channel 9 news from last night?
  7. Odd Cell over the borders, expected a lot more activity than this by now. Hmm.
  8. Cheers - will look into doing all of the above. What's GR3?
  9. Can someone help me with the following? - A reliable stream to someone that's following the storms live? - A TV channel stream that's covering any storms aside from the Weather Channel? - An updated Doppler. Thanks - always want to get involved in this but never know how to do it live.
  10. South and West Oklahoma along side Central Kansas looks prime today. The weather channel were big on both.
  11. Indeed, as a Met Monkey member with 6,000+ posts, he knows his stuff.
  12. See there's some big snow forecast for the likes of Denver this weekend, up to a foot and a half in places.
  13. Same here, only light though. The weather for the rest of the week looks, well grim. Cloudy bitter days, no snow or weather action of any sort. Here's hoping next weekends system sits itself nicely over us. Remember though this weekends was originally placed for the north east, the one currently modelled is for the south and south west so the chances are things will go further south than north. We can't get two bang ons in the space of 7 days can we?
  14. Another inch or so overnight, was just starting to stick when I turned the cricket off around 4.
  15. Another covering forming here, lots of tiny flakes at moderate intensity.
  16. Biggest flakes of the entire event currently falling here.
  17. Around 3-4CM Friday night into Saturday mostly melted away and perhaps 2-3" last night. Impressive for the end of March.
  18. Ended up with around 8ish CM's of snow here. Big drifts in some areas, but that was bound to be expected. I've just been across to Lichfield, through the town centre, then towards the bowling green and back along the country lanes and I'm sorry but 10 inches in Lichfield of lying flat snow is a phantom story, there's 3-4inches maybe in sweet spots. Maybe 10 inch drifts. Odd flakes falling, the system has died far quicker than things showed, I think models and pro's overdid any intensity as it started dying as a system around 9pm last night, not through today like it was supposed to. That'l be it for snow I reckon.
  19. Looks amazing with all the lights off in the middle of the night being so bright outside you can see miles away. Feels FAR colder know than it did at midnight but there's still a drip drop occurring. Nothing will accumulate outside of darkness so my advice would be get up at 5-6 and enjoy it before its gone until next winter! 5-6CM on all surfaces here.
  20. Still coming here, everywhere is getting whiter but things don't seem to be getting deeper. 4CMish.
  21. Around 3-4 since dark. Slushy and wet but white over. Might end up with 5-6CM before light when it all melts and dies away.
  22. I think the biggest mistake tonight was the expectancy that when the 2 bands merged and pivoted they'd intensify, when the opposite has happened. Had they intensified we'd all be knee deep. Instead localised totals might be large and those on higher than bog standard ground, but generally totals will be good but nowhere near what they could have been.
