  1. Blimey the north east coast looks peppered with bright red and white radar echo returns. A fantastic day up there. I had a feeling this weekend would bring more joy than the entire of last week and it looks correct.
  2. Yup, I thought that on the MO radar but the NW radar seems to suggest the eastern flank will hit here.
  3. Your more sorted to a 'southern softy' personna, so it was a natural move for you.. Last radar I checked they were going to miss to the west..so we will have to see...
  4. Last time I checked they were going to miss to the west here. Can someone link me to the NW radar? Ta.
  5. If they stick together they could become quite potent, hopefully they do.
  6. I genuinely think this country is in a cycle now where getting snow on a consistent basis is easier than good storms.
  7. We need to look slightly further SE and see what happens. We will get showers I reckon, just depends whether they are thundery or not.
  8. Cheers AJ. I suspect reading that is going to be rather more interesting that anything happening this week in the UK!
  9. Summer doesn't start until August and the football season comes back for me. June and early July are always super dupere.
  10. 3 chances, 3 duds. My prediction of not much if any activity for 95% of the country was incorrect, it was more like 100%. Terribly uninteresting week so far. Tonight and tommorrow looks poor on BBC forecast maps in comparison to what it did yesterday. You can almost guarantee there will be quite widespread storms this weekend under the cold front, just for the irony.
  11. Seems to have cleared up a little here, a bit brighter now and the cloud levels seem to have retreated slightly.
  12. Midlands today was rather positive about Late Wed/Thursday for us. Shefali noted a 'very unstable' system moving up from the South of the UK, a few showers breaking out tommorrow evening with the chance of some Thunder, but Thursday she stated as 'the main event' where it'd be a very wet day with the chance of some thunderstorms/thunder and lightning. Hope so.
  13. Well Midlands today was fairly optimistic about Thursday being quite an active thundery day.
  14. Yes I wouldn't be surprised if we see a line of light drizzle and showers in the next hour or 2. Not much of interest though.
  15. Looks like a fantastic radar for the SE quadrant. You lucky gits.
  16. Hazy sunshine here at the moment, feeling pleasant but muggy. Rest of the week looks a 100% regular week. Boring in other words. I wish we had the same climate as the US, just not as severe in terms of Tornadic and Hurrican activity.
  17. Yep as expected, 95% of the UK will see nothing thundery this week, plenty of cloud and an uncomfortable humidity. Boring.
  18. Estofex is normally very accurate too, not good news. Enjoy the odd cracks of thunder. This week at this point in time looks as though it'l be a soggy mess from an IMBY point of view.
  19. Hopefully things continue to move north, might be worth a late one.
