There's a tiny but active sell due South of here. Hopefully it builds and booms. BBC showed this system back building and lasting right the way through until this evening.
What do people make of a homegrown threat throughout today as this is all but done at the moment.
What an absolute joke of a 24 hours! Storms are legitimately harder to get than snow these days and that's saying something. I'd suggest this see's out the summers last chance of a spell like this given were unlikely to see consistent heat again between now and the end of August time. Utterly abysmal as per - Lincs & East Mids are the place to be for storms in the UK.
Why not? There is a small line of discrete cells to the SSW slowly drifting north, they aren't big but they could at least leave some lightning in the distance. Look out of your house windows toward the SW.
He meant East Midlands & Lincs, we seem to breed weak stuff in the west before it gets intense nicely in time for the east. Looking dead and buried for the forseeable this evening, everything slipping to the east and an almost clear sky here.
I get the feeling tonights stuff will be more thundery rain, where you have the odd rumbles and some moderately heavy rain and nothing more. Be very dissapointing IMO.
So as we head into the evening hours in around 2 hours time, my earlier list of 3 chances, looks like it could just be 1. I fancy thundery rain and nothing more, but we will see.
