    Have to be honest I love snow in winter but after having a taste of summer the last week or so the last thing I want now is cold sleety slush mess. Bring back the warmth and sun asap please.

    There’s so much knee jurk reaction on here it’s ridiculous, the storm is barely even reaching Cornwall yet there’s people saying it’s calm hardly any wind, what do you expect? It’s going to be pretty rough out there today from my guess 10-11 right through until this evening so chill

    Well I for one am looking forward to a good old storm, I like the extremes personally although I wouldn’t mind it going further south so may bring snow into the mix, couple of days and we should no what’s going to happen. Bring it on

    Game over? Christ the models can’t agree at all on the earlier stages let alone the later, until they can agree early on then nobody knows. Game over is soooo over used on here it’s ridiculous

    The high won’t just sit over us for weeks and weeks lol, when in reality does it ever do that? Give it a few days and see where the next move is, whatever the models are showing now in 7 days time pretty much guarantee that won’t be what actually happens. This thread sometimes

    Obviously I’m still NOT saying this will happen but has a bit more support all of a sudden wasn’t I ridiculed earlier for this post just goes to show the bracket is pretty wide atm so whilst we may end up with the high over us it also could give us what we all (most) crave…..

    As I clearly say it’s cherry picked was just showing it’s there so you never no, what’s pointless about discussing it as it’s model related? Would rather I just said mild for the foreseeable and that’s that?

    Ok this more than likely won’t happen but for it to even be there (yes cherrypicked) it must mean the uncertainty around where the high may end up, even just a few hundred miles west will get us into some pretty cold air. You just never know is all I’m saying…watch this space

    Nothing to climb down from at that timeframe. Anything from about the 10th is pure fi and not to be taken seriously or imo even looked at other than for a laugh. I don’t get this who will backdown etc they are just computers predicting what they see nothing more nothing less

    I may be wrong but the problem for the midlands here is the wind direction is too westerly so most of the showers get sucked up by the Welsh mountains hope I’m wrong though. It won’t matter though if the last couple of gfs runs prove to be on the money

    After catacols update earlier I was thinking it was time to start the hunt for thunderstorms and heat. I personally am no where near ready for that….bring on bitter cold and lots of big dumpings
