  1. West country likely not sure about west midlands they are forecast to move NW
  2. speed there going give a couple of hours if that latest news 24 forecast have a very wet night for the west but essentially dry for central and E areas until the rain tomorrow
  3. should be with you shortly as these do not appear to be hanging around
  4. some lively radar echos through parts of the midlands at the moment moving north quite quickly I think but I cannot tell how fast are these cells moving
  5. it seems for me according to the models the next 5 hours is what I have most worry about , after that the weather does seem to ease somewhat apart from the heavy rain developing to the west but I don't really have to worry about that at the moment
  6. NO NO NO we don't want that well I certainly don't if the weather gods are listening steer all storms round bedworth or shunt the immediately to Northern England
  7. yep fingers crossed they don't head in mine , if and when these storms develop anyone know fast they'll be moving North or is all of that open to question
  8. my only consolation is that if any storms do develop over my location they'll be moving north
  9. met office now issued warnings for monday but not for storms just for heavy rain this time
  10. after reading nick F forecast I'm slightly more worried than before I'm still taking comfort that they won't be everywhere and probably still fairyly scattered (Hopefully) and I might miss them , my real concern is my mum going out at 7pm and she doesn't like them either although not to the same scale as me and I'm hoping they either missed or heading N then again I might no see anything here's hoping
  11. Might happen but most models don't favour it . thats not to say it won't happen though and even in the warning zones the probability is that most will not see anything and if they do it won't be one after the other as it sometimes can be as they will move north people may catch one on their journey north into northern england this evening and I hope there in northern england this evening as my mum don't like these and she's going out mid evening I hope they've UP NORTH by then
  12. I think there's a more stronger cap in the london area and SE in general with less of it over midlands and especially Northern England
  13. depends on what you read latest thinking is for storms develop over part of the midlands moving north into northern england this evening with more elevated ones developing later in the evening mainly affecting the SW quarter ie SW england Parts of Wales but that'll be more likely a band of heavy rain developing with embedded convection and today really seems to be summer's last hurrah with heat and storms goodbye summer 2015 roll on the autumn where typically better weather will probably turn up
  14. I see the GFS has lowered the cape/LI on it's latest runs I also have a question I see that the Cape/LI almost completely vanishes by 2100 considering it's still realtively high at 1800 what is the cause of this , is it just the sun going down of a combination of factors?
  15. I like that because I might be just a few miles south to avoid the worst although supacell should be chuffed
  16. I see the met office has extended it's warnings to more in line with all the others it does seem that parts of the midlands even though not all of the midlands is covered for the afternoon the It's looks like the real fun and games could be northern england this evening
  17. To be fair I don't believe he was having a pop at them he was just warning against getting over excited in case things do not turn out exactly as forecast tomorrow , things can and probably will change a little bit by tomorrow which might lead to variations , he was just guarding against very high expectations which I think is very wise based on recent forecasts of this type
  18. yep just 8 days ago at this distance out it was all nailed on for the uk and nothing happened and some of this tomorrow might be undone by cloud but the cloud is forecast to break east of the pennines during tomorrow pm but the word forecast must be emphasied as nothing in weather is guaranteed especially storms and if cries of bust do come alongf it will be in the early of sunday not the mid afternoon
  19. bear in mind he said they might veer NW so even that crumb might disappear , it does seem that here (that been stourbridge or bedworth) or just North will be the possible breeding ground then off north to northern england with possible high based storms possibly following into the evening from the south what do you think more likely chesterfield winning or the storm ?
  20. If you ask some about it's record they'll say GONE FOR SUMMER
