  1. just looking at the other forecasts looks like it'll start for me after midnight and last a couple of houre as they seem to be tracking quite quickly
  2. thought that was a bit of screen corruption until I realised what it was
  3. hope so because my mum is out collecting for a charity and she doesn't like this weather either of course not to the same level as me
  4. is that an upgrade or downgrade of the potential weather edit - i mean the thunder activity
  5. lets hope it's east of me maybe a couple of light years should be sufficient
  6. let me get this right are you saying the rain over midlands will be less convective with less thunder activity just more general rain not saying none just less and the more from this down to the south it develops a line of convective precip. from Abbeville (France) NW towards IoW
  7. in the interest of fairness I hope it's not that severe of course a couple of hours later most of that is gone with a bit of luck
  8. latest news 24 forecast had all this rain/storms moving into Northern England between 1 and 2 am so not hanging around and into scotland by about 5am
  9. no internet red phone boxes 4 television stations spectrum comnputers the height of personal computing yeah would like to go back to those days
  10. I've got an early start to help my sister with a summer fete tomorrow even though I know nothing has started yet does anyone have an idea when said storms or rain will have cleared North from ME or is it not certain yet
  11. Looks like metcheck evaluation won't be far off the mark judging by latest charts and met warning and they both stress that a lot of areas will not much at all
  12. yep for most looks like like an overnight job and gone by dawn well at least for me it does and anyway not going to hang around by looks of it
  13. isn't the loaded gun scenario more likely in the SE because there's more of a cap there then elsewhere ?
  14. doesn't look like much happening until the overnight period for most and for much of england and wales it will gone by the time most are up in the morning
  15. it would make Syria look like a picnic after reading that I'm off to lie down
  16. I thought Carol Kirkwood's forecast's were always the nail in the coffin for this type of weather or hasn't she mention the dreaded H word yet ?
  17. yep some disagreement even this close and if they fire they are not going to hang around by southen scotland by dawn estofex doesn;t really paint a nasty picture unlike they did for wednesday and the BBC has the worst for SW wales moving north so not a clear picture even now edit - not sure how good these charts are first time looking and posting so forgive if they are a load of rubbish
