  1. relative good news for me as I'm on the east coast tomorrow and by the time I get back it should be pretty quiet although some rain early on thursday
  2. not sure but the beeb indicated that there will be a lot more cloud tomorrow over much of england than the blue skies of today and also the areas that are seeing showers were indicated by the beeb in their forecast of course the main action is tomorrow ove N England And Scotland and then possibly on thursday in the E/SE as the cold front goes through
  3. I'm off to skeggy tomorrow hope the weather plays ball ie ; no storms i mean and hopefully none for the journey there and back as well so pleased i'm not going to blackpool
  4. to be fair the bbc did show one or two 2 heavy showers with the odd rumble as they call it in the area of london or southern england overnight but nothing major and not much showing in the SW either their main focus was showers/storms in northern england / scotland tomorrow afternoon onwards they did also say it would not be blue sky and a lot of white milky skies tomorrow
  5. really don't want anything here overnight tonight even if the risk is low as am travelling to skegness for a day out of course that should be relatively fine tomorrow it's walking to my bus tomorrow I have concerns about , just how much of the midlands are we talking about Met office suggested far W portions edit - just saw latest BBC forecast doesn't look too bad for me , just pleased I'm going to skeggy rather than blackpool
  6. I was hoping Wednesday be a not too bad day as I am going to skegness for a day out but not sure if I'll go now I have enough trouble dealing with them when I'm inside never mind possibly catching them there during day or travelling back in my location in the early evening on a sidenote I had vowed to stay away from all these forums not to distress myself and from Thursday upto an hour ago I had succeeded now back at square one and feel like any progress has been lost oh well apologies for prattling on just so disappointed with myself at the moment and wesdnesday in now playing on my mind
  7. judging by the radar echos and what others have said I don't how i didn't hear any thunder well it's clearing away now anyway
  8. odd indeed my parents who i am with at the moment didn't hear it either I must admit I was surprised that there was no thunder considering the strength of the rainfall
  9. Didn't hear it here even though it has done nothing but batter it down for about 25 minutes edit - rain easing now
  10. typical one seems to be heading for me don't know how strong if at all as I'm going by rain radar and that's 10 minutes old Edit - just got the fright of my life as my 5.1 stereo system and blu ray player launched a dvd very loudly hearts now just slowing down
  11. now seems to be moving East I appear sandwiched between ones to the north and south with the worst possibly avoiding me directly but you never know
  12. yep that's heading SE and there's some rain to my NW which I think maybe heading in the direction of Leicester , if it stays true to form it'll probably go barmy as it heads to the SE
  13. Summer solstice already would you believe that the days will be shortening again already even though very slowly at first (if too off topic feel free to delete)
  14. yep warnings out for this region too , met seem to be covering there bases and just like for you the is a low risk of impact and I think they'll be gone before 10pm in my part of the world but like I said covering the bases for locations south and east during the evening period and as for sunshine it seems to be playing a game of peek-a-boo
  15. yep but by that time in'll be more in the SE parts of England or possibly East Anglia
  16. the question is though how many clearer slots are with all these showers breaking out already
  17. with these showers already coming not sure how much sunshine we're actually going to get here but overcast all day so far and is raining again now and these showers appearing to be be moving SE direction ever so slightly
  18. I assume you have to pay to access them and even I'm not going to do that
  19. I wasn't writing this post from a basis of fear or just to calm myself down I was stating my opinion on what might happen but thanks for the concern anyway
  20. It's one of these days I think where some will see them but the Majority I suspect won't and even where they are seen I would have thought they won't be prolonged affairs anyway and also as a thundery showers is defined as a brief rainstorm with thunder it might be a case of one rumble and it's over
  21. any showers/storms don't look too widespread with them over London and more SE areas by evening and if you believe bbc graphics it's south of Birmingham ie more Central/southern England eastwards
