  1. is it a trick of the radar or is it now starting to move pretty quickly north
  2. at this pace wont the follow the bbc forecast and be into northern england by afternoon
  3. what are the chances of me seeing this that is current over wales as it seems to be moving north
  4. met office changed their rain forecast now moving north over dorset gloucester way by 5am
  5. Funny how these things take so long to get him but then get a move on when they arrive
  6. Latest news 24 forecast doesn't have the main bulk of the activity arriving at the south coast until 5am then moving through to northern England by early afternoon they also said they'd be hit and miss while some get soaked others down the seeing very little their graphics also said it would be a band of rain with thundery showers embedded within it but looks to have cleared through most of southern England by mid to late morning
  7. yep and I do intend to do that everytime one comes along but right at the last minute it all goes pearshaped met office have changed their predicted rainfall now their forecast now and not for the better but I've seen predicted rain before and the reality in some cases is remarkably different
  8. this from the BBC I take it any change on the graphics or just the delivery Didn't watch it in case it was worse than last but judging by the sounds of the last one I suppose it couldn't been
  9. looks the east is taking a battering there looks like you and me are not if I'm reading it right and also seems to represent the metoffice rain forecaster quite well if its accurate
  10. I thought Acas was there to prevent strikes quite right percentages are no good 75% of people know that
  11. well it has shifted eastwards you just have to look at the met office rain forecast to see that I think there was nothing forecast for london and SE this morning now the one in the earlier hours and the later on tomorrow is worst in the east doesn't mean there wont be anything elsewhere but it does look to have moved a little eastwards selfishly speaking that suits mean I just hope this doesnt come back to kick me in the ass later
  12. isn't the worst of that east of coventry and more E and NE into lincolnshire NE england way (asking from a purely selfish perspective)
  13. Hopefully as I have trouble dealing with simple thundery showers never mind storms
  14. according to the latest met rain forecast then yes and also the second wave is possibly to do so as well of course I might just be willing it not to come my way so take little notice
  15. welsh mountains probably gave it a hand latest met office rainfall predicter still has the first and second waves more east than this morning hopefully the very worst won't hit me directly
  16. just noticed how for overnight this morning the met office had thundery rain over midlands with london and SE dry apart from the far west of the region now its the midlands with not so much rain and london and se getting the first wave and that pattern seems ro continue with the second wave as well (he says hopefully)
  17. Well At Parents house now in case of anything over next 24 hours even they do wish I would make more of an effort to overcome it
