  1. it'll impact them but am not sure to how much i think some have storm tinted glasses on at the moment it's got 5 days to go so may be different nearer the time unless it's thunder then its a nailed on certainty according to some
  2. well providing it's in the east I won't mind warm humid thundery weather is not my cup of tea
  3. would you believe it skirted all around me I'm gutted (not really)
  4. even though the county I am in is the the warning zone (Warwickshire) not sure if my actual actual area (Bedworth) is will wait and see but hopefully they'll be further south perhaps the storms will be like the economic recovery and limited to down south
  5. dull boring no extremes of any kind would suit me
  6. Met Office have withdrawn the weather warnings for tomorrow apart from a few showers which will be more frequent in the west later and a substantially cooler day not a lot going on
  7. sunsune and showers looks the most likely at the minute and temps probably maxing somewhere in the low twenties but as you know with showers you may get one , loads or not any at all best to take a brolly just to be on the safe side
  8. met office has issued a heat health alert Current watch level: Level 2 - Alert and Readiness Issued at: 0844 on Tue 30 Jul 2013 There is a 60 % probability of heatwave conditions between 1200 on Thursday and 1800 on Friday in parts of England. Temperatures are expected to peak in some southern and eastern areas on Thursday, with a humid feel and a warm and muggy night on Thursday night. High temperatures are likely to continue on Friday in some eastern parts of England. An update will be issued when the alert level changes in any region. Alerts are issued once a day by 0900 if required and are not subject to amendment in between standard issue times. Note that the details of the forecast weather are valid at the time of issue but may change over the period that an alert remains in force. These details will not be updated here unless the alert level also changes, the latest forecast details can be obtained at the following link: http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/#?tab=map This is really only a S/SE event with all other areas getting a 30% chance so nothing to worry about for most and for most be gone by friday
  9. could do with increasing the size of your writing , I could hardly read it
  10. thanks for the concern not bad as the very worst of it didn't hit me head on just seem to skirt east and west of me which I managed to deal with reasonably and as for tonight going by what you say I'd might get the odd rumble with the rain so that is also manageable but the Carboot sale I was going to tomorrow might be in jeopardy
  11. in regarding to tonight's rain the BBC has the more thundery activity more E and SE and not so much in the rain belt moving through more central areas even though thunder cannot be ruled out in that rain band I'm just asking is that a fair assessment ?
  12. Nope don't want that had enough of that earlier in the week let the SE keep it (selfish point of view) besides there is great uncertainty of it's track
  13. I still think there moving more NE then N and on a side note latest News 24 with Tomas had some storm this evening but most arriving on the south coast tomorrow morning but he did say it won't be a big mass of rain he said there would be pockets of rainful where some place could see a lot of rain and some seeing little same about lightning some may some a lot some won't see very much but winds will be very gusty and rain will move north through the day
  14. sorry reported your post by mistake Edit - actually seems I didn't , seems you have to do more then just click report
  15. and now my temperatures are starting to drop only 1 degree but still
  16. everything does look to be slightly further north and west of course I'm no expert and the delay seem to tie with my new met office forecast not through the night but now through tomorrow morning
  17. only things that come north from France with alarming regularity are illegal immigrants
  18. met office had me down for sunny spells and thundery downpours tomorrow after early morning storms now they have thundery downpours moving up from the south during the morning which seems a little later than originally forecast with limited sunny spells last time it was forecast like this a few years ago it was dull with not a lot of rain surely it can't go that wrong , I won't complain if it does but you wouldn't think so another site has me down for only isolated thunderstorms
