I think my fog might turn to drizzle shortly

Has anyone ever had thunderfog? Come on Norfolk, you can surely squeeze out a little cloud parp later......

Pretty active cell just cleared here, not ultra photogenic but plenty of lightning and loud thunder. Once again August proves to be the month for storms here, with Monday's efforts that's 2 storms in 4 days, surpassing anything recent "big" scenarios have attempted to deliver

It may not have been ultra windy but the squall line which raced through was pretty impressive! Took some great pics at Bedford Athletic Rugby Club whilst at a dog show (I'd upload them if there was a straightforward way of doing it). Luckily the more intense hail core passed us, but we had unbelievably torrential rain, some big CGs with shotgun thunder, and large pea sized hail. Luckily no one lost a tent! A very useful 28mm in the rain gauge this morning Not quite sure what to expect tomorrow, already have had trees shedding leaves due to lack of water, now it looks like they'll be forcibly removed!

Goodness me, some quite heavy rain just now and the wind has suddenly increased very noticeably. Still as muggy as all get out though.

I was hoping for slightly more rain overnight - 0.1mm doesn't really do it for me! The late forecast last night was very enthusiastic about reasonably heavy rain spreading northwards from the S overnight. I really shouldn't pay any attention to national forecasts

August is traditionally the best month for storms in Norfolk - it better live up to that tradition as we were poorly served by the last "event"!
