  1. 26.9C was the high today, making it the hottest day of the year so far here!
  2. I'm unsure how accurate it is, but the local weather station is currently saying 24.7C. Yesterday got to 25.7C, but temperatures didn't seem to peak until about 3-4, so there's the chance that it still has an hour or two to get warmer.
  3. Temps got to 21.3C today when the sun finally came out this afternoon. I'm not sure how accurate this is, but I'm not going to be complaining if this comes off.
  4. I think 30C could quite easily be broken in some favoured spots, maybe 32 or 33C sould be broken in a very small number of places. Regardless of the exact temperatures though, we have had to wait far too long for a decent spell of nice weather, so as long as it's sunny, I don't care on the exact temperatures.
  5. It got to 26.5C today here when the sun came out at around 1:30, making it the hottest day of the year - by over 3C! Unfortunate that we have all this heat and humidity and no storms, though.
  6. Already the hottest day of the year here at 23.6C, with DewPoint at 17.8C. Definitely not a day I want to be stuck outside, it feels horrible out!
  7. Only 8AM, and already feeling stuffy here. Local weather station is saying it's currently 15.1C, with a DP of 14.6C! 97% humidity, and humidex at 18.8C. Hoping that we see something today, though I'm doubtful.
  8. Quite muggy here, I expect Wednesday will be worse though. Temperature only at 14.8C, currently, with DP at 13C, but humidity at 88% making it feel a little stuffy. Humidex at 17.5%. Still nothing compared to how muggy it felt on the 28th June last year. 26.5C with 85% humidity wasn't fun at all.
  9. I don't think that it is limited to storms. I get excited whenever we get severe weather, of any kind. I think it is partially due to the fact that most of the time we have very boring weather, so when something out of the ordinary happens, we tend to appreciate it a little bit more. Mother nature is just so unpredictable, it is quite awe-inspiring.
  10. Monday into Tuesday looks like it could be very wet. Not too much of a bad thing though, we've only had 1.6mm of rain so far this month. Currently 16.3C, and the sun's coming out finally.
  11. Still 12C and cloudy here in Swindon until about 10 mins ago!
  12. Another brilliant day of sunshine here in Swindon today, without a cloud in the sky throughout the entire morning. Temperatures peaked at 20.3C at around 2:30, and it is great to look at the forecast and see that there is much more to come over the next few days!
  13. Very very sad and shocked to hear about this. RIP to all three of them, and condolences go out to the family. It just goes to show that even the people who know what they are doing can get caught off guard.
  14. Been watching this thread and the livestream for a while, and this is definitely very worrying. Very sad to see that two people have already died from this tornado, but let's hope that the total doesn't increase. The tornado looks rainwrapped, which isn't helping the situation very much.
  15. Rain has been coming down nicely herem, and it's been quite cold - Max temp was only 8C today. Looking like Saturday will be very wet, if the forecast doesn't change before then.
  16. when I woke up about an hour ago, I didn't expect to see 2-3cm's on car and house rooves. It's stopped snowing now, but that was a pleasant surprise!
  17. Seems we've missed the worst of it herre for now. Only 5mm so far.
  18. It's certainly been cold today. Gusts of 40mph, with the temperature only reaching 0 isn't very pleasant to walk in.
  19. Temperatures got to 16.3C here today! If it was a few days earlier, then it may just have been one of the warmest days on record here.
  20. Last night saw temperatures here drop to -4.7C, the second coldest temperature of the winter, and it's not even classed as winter anymore!
  21. 9.4C currently, and temperatures got down to -4C last night. Vey sunny now, and looks lovely out there.
  22. 9.4C here already. Lovely blue skies, starting to feel more like April rather than February. Doubt it will last long though. Nice to see that it will be drier for a while now, it will give the still saturated areas some more time to dry off.
  23. Looks like a good inch or so of rain for here tomorrow. Hopefully nothing too disruptive, and even a chance of some snow afterwards!
