That's the snow just started, wee teeny flakes. I don't expect a total whiteout. Temp starting to fall away now, 1.6c. I'm not expecting a total whiteout, and as I type, the snow has stopped.

Mornin' Kilties from a very sleety and cauld Skye. Massive drop in temp, down to 2.5 here today, was up at something ridiculous yesterday...11c if I remember correctly. Not expecting any white stuff till later on, and probably only a dusting as we usually get. I have plenty of wood and coal ready to keep the cauld at bay!

Afternoon Kilties! Well, it does seem as if Skye will get a wee blast of the white stuff after all. Whether or not it lies is another matter, it's so mild here today at 8.3c and the odd shower of rain. It doesn't augur well for snow actually lying, especially where I am, almost at sea level! So, don't mind me, but I'm not quite ready to ramp just yet, I'll maybe wait until Thursday to see if we still have any snow lying.... then I could be ready for take off!

Bet the white stuff misses Skye altogether! Well, nothing new there then!

Mornin'Kilties! Was very mild yesterday topping out at 12.2c. Nippier this morning at 3.3 and cloudy. As for this snow that's supposed to be arriving later this week, which forecast should I believe? One says rain, one says snow and yet another says hee-haw! Take it as it comes and don't get too carried away at the thought of a snowflake or two!

Mornin' guys from the steamy subtropics of Skye! Today we are mostly blawy and wet with temp currently at 7.9c. So, back to normal, eh?

Morning Kilties! Well, what a dreich depressing day it was yesterday. Rained all day, quite windy and really not that cold at 3.3c. It's very calm here just now, temp 2.8c, pressure 1001. A drier day in prospect I think...and hope!

Mornin' all! Well, that looks like the end of the snow and cold up here. It's 3.3c here with a light breeze and I'm not expecting any white stuff. It was nice while it lasted.

Evening Peeps! Still cold and frosty here, temp has now risen to the tropical heights of -1.2c! Phew! Sweltering! Doesn't look like we'll see such cold temps again this week, but so long as it stays dry I'll be happy!

Morning Frozen Kilties! it's -5.5 here just now, that's got to be the lowest temp here for many a year. Lovely! I'll probably have to break the ice on the duck pond later, been a long time since I had to do that! Enjoy the snow, those of you who have it, or will be getting it. Last week's snow is now just a distant memory as we are now back to being decidedly green, albeit with a nice frosty coating!

Mornin'Kilties! Nice to see that there's plenty of white stuff covering the land now! Lots of happy smiling faces on this thread! No further snowfall for Skye and nor am I expecting any. Temp -1.1c, pressure 994, very clear and frosty. Love it!

Haven't had a shower of the white stuff for a wee while now. That could be us for the day. Just got back from a wee walk and Oh My, was it cauld! If it freezes tonight those roads will be like skating rinks!

Been snowing off and on this morning, proper snow and graupely stuff too. Still Baltic at 0.3c. Skies in Skye very heavy....more to come?

Morning snow seeking Kilties from a rather white Skye! Yes, gentle reader, the snow hath fallen! Not in great bucket loads mind, but we do have a nice wee covering here, maybe a couple of cm's. A bit nippy too, currently _1.1c. Long may it continue as I was getting kinda fed up o' the wind and rain. We also had a 3 hour power cut here last night, but at least it was only 3 hours. Some folks were off for 5 days in parts of Skye.

Morning Kilties! Well, wasn't that a breezy, sleety, raniy kinda night? Pressure has really dropped now at 944mb. Wind has dropped a bit, but I expect more of last night's offerings later on today. Those charts for next week? WOW! That is all....

Pressure beginning to drop quickly now. Down to 961mb, we have horizontal rain and a very stiff breeze! Temp 2c.

Horizontal sleet here, 25mph gust, pressure dropping fast, now down to 963mb and the storm warning is flashing on my weather station.

Snow practically gone now, turned to rain. Next week looks like it might be a bit nippy though, best get the de-icer and scrapers ready in the car!

Morning all Snow White Kilties! No further white stuff to report here, we were lucky to manage a few cm's, but better than nothing. We may even be lucky enough to get further snow fall later in the week. One lives in hope! Enjoy the white stuff those of you who have it!

Afternoon all! well slap ma face, we have had snow here! Whoop whoop! It's such an uncommon thing that everyone tends to get a wee bit excitied. Not much mind, but real honest to goodness white stuff falling from the sky in Skye. And it's Baltic. Not long returned from my weekly sojourn to the big smoke of Portree, roads cleared quickly ( that makes for a change! ) big fire on, lappy on lap and a large cup o' tea. How to make a girl happy! Temp is currently 1.3, wind chill -3c. Stay snug folks.

Morning Kilties! Was woken at 6am with a crash, bang wallop and flash of thunder, lightning and a very fierce hailnshower. All white out there now, but not due to any snow sadly! Temp 0.2c. I look forward to a very interesting few days of weather! Enjoy the white stuff if it arrives in your airt!

Morning Campers! Another very blowy night up here, still blawin' a Hoolie! No let up in the winds for this week by the look of things, maybe some quiet by the weekend! As to snow, well, every forecast I look at tells me something different, so I guess I'll have to take what I get and like it!

Had some flurries of snow/graupel stuff, nothing lying. It doesnae get a chance as the wind just picks it up and flings it somewhere else!! Damned cauld though, need to stoke up the fire again.
