BBC are showing snow to the south and east of London tomorrow night. A few cms maybe.

So who ISN'T going to attempt to get to work tomorrow? I only have a 5 mile drive, but I really don't fancy it in a rear wheel drive car without traction control (and non winter tires!!).
I walk 40 minutes to work every day. Should be fun tomorrow!

really? I have my thermometer away from my house up the garden drilled to the wall away from any other houses. Its reading -1c here.

Closing in on 8cm here in Bexley- Surpassed 3 inches at a guess-
With the current build & speed I will plump for 12cm in DA6.... 5 inches.

Wow, that first chart is cold! Should freeze the snow solid tonight and make any attempted thaw a slower process.

The forecast was really quite wrong for parts of London and Surrey. I was expecting 2-3cm, but I've got MUCH more than that, and it's still snowing heavily.
The heaviest snow was forecast to be over us but ended up further west. Bit surprised the Met Office didn't review their warnings.

Just as the NAE gets back on the idea of snow tomorrow night the GFS drops the idea. Hmmmm.

Yeah, we've got a good amount of snow on the ground but it's a bit frustrating seeing the real heavy snow passing just to the west of us all day whilst the weakest area of the front keeps passing over here. Would be nice to see our first heavy falling snow of the winter!

The Western edge of the front has been heavy all day. Would be sods law if it weakens just as its about to hit Medway!

Looks like I may catch the tail end of the line of snow that has formed to the west of London running south eastward.
