  1. Rain, just as Met Office predicted. :(

Such a shame. 3rd Snowless Winter in a row. Still time though, I'll never give up the hunt and there's always next year. We will have 6 foot drifts again, we will see blizzards. Lol

On another note. Come on Wales. Not the first half I wanted to see in this game against Scotland.

Cymru Am Byth! We seem to love playing catch up rugby.

Bernaz - just said BBC Wales forecast - slip of the tongue - wintry especially for the heads of the "WELLIES" LOL

so just put your wellies on folks lol

I had to rewind that twice to listen again. Wasn't sure if she said heads of the wellies or heads of the wallies. Lol

  3. Hopefully. We do struggle to get the cold here with being so close to the coast. I was just looking at the snow maps and wow, quite a few good chances for Wales. Even for Cardiff. Let the lamp post watching begin! :)

  4. Net Weather's forecast for Cardiff now showing heavy sleet Friday, sleet again Saturday and snow on Sunday. Temps really do need to drop first though, it's still so mild here despite raging winds.

not a good idea - just wait until the storm has passed through. Our carport roof got totally detached from the carport overnight and blew into middle of road (lucky it was 4am and no cars there) had to have fire service to come to retrieve as it. if things go wrong during the storm unless there is immedaite danger to life or property - leave it as it is LOL (not ranting at your Clair - your neighbour!!)

I was quite concerned he was going to electrocute himself when the rain belted down. Bet the daft sod had extension leads draped across the garden too.

  6. Winds really are blowing a gale here and have been all night long. We've had sheets of rain. My neighbour is out trying to fix his fence in this. As fast as he drills it back into place it's back down again.

  7. Thanks Midlands Ice Age. I snapped those with my phone, so looking forward to seeing what beauties I have on my proper camera later. :)

It's 3.2C in Cardiff now. Still lots of frost and ice lingering. If we can't have snow then this comes a close second best for me. Hopefully we'll get another cracking frost tonight before the mild air hits tomorrow.
