    That was a pretty intense storm earlier, just looking at the radar, there "may" be some more rain kicking off to the south-east of here, has anybody noticed this, or is this not going to be significant.

    BBC forecast for my area is kindof, er wrong, it said light rain and breezy, but in fact it is heavy rain with very little wind.

    Mainly cloudy, cool and breezy here, a little brightness at the moment. There may be a few drops of rain shortly, and the forecast for the weekend is slowly going downhill little by little with each forecast, in terms of warmth and sun, so any barbecue is looking like a no no. Temp - 10.8C.

    What a contrast from yesterday, it's dull, misty and a more of a breeze so hence feels a bit cooler than yesterday morning. Temp 9.4C.

    Beautiful here this morning, bit cool, but skies are crystal clear. Temp, 10C.

    Next couple of days are set to be ok, temp may reach 20C.

    Still sunny - no cloud, little more breeze now, temp at 16C.

    Clear sunny skies here also, temp at 13.5C, very little wind, but the BBC has my location under light cloud all day.

    I've noticed that the temps have been sliced down by 1 degree over the the last two days for this weekend over the Mids, but the temps for the S.E. are being pumped up slightly.

    Back down to 10C now with mist,fog and drizzle, that band of cloud seems hooked over the central strip of the country at the moment, lets hope the sun can get to work on it and burn it off.

    Snow is looking less and less likely now over the Easter weekend looking at the three big runners currently, rain however is - sorry for those who are waiting for one more drop of the white stuff.

    Looks like a dull wet cold - no snow though (at least in the west mids), Easter weekend at the moment.

    That low is drifting to the sw, just like most of the other models.

    Noticed this yesterday or the day before can't remember due to my BT, anyway some warmer air drifting up the east side of that low. so any cold seems less likely now.

    You can have a "trend" after 8 days though, but this is only the weather so i don't understand why people get so animated or upset over it.

    Trouble is anything beyond 5 or 6 days cannot be accurately forecast, and the charts after 10 days sometimes bare no recognition to ones 6 hours earlier.

    There looks like some warmer air trying to push north in the 192hr chart.

    Nah, the GFS 18z is not going to deliver anything the same as the ECMWF by Tuesday next week, apart from cold rain and wind.

    Those latest charts look interesting, from 240hrs, but again they will look different again in the 18hrs.

    I'm pretty sure that won't happen come the actual day.

    Looks the ECMWF is coming on board for yet another cold east blast.

    Anything beyond 6 days should taken with a pinch of salt, as there is nearly always a completely different outcome after this.

    What are the chances of the 12z chart looking like the 06z chart after 300hrs?
