  1. 5 mins down the road its nearly 10 inches in places ronan, here a couple of polystyrene balls blowing about.....really frustrating lol
  2. They could link across the irish sea north of iom. Look to be going that way on radar.
  3. With the great uncertainty so far neiller, its possible, hopefully so anyway.
  4. Radar going to get worn out....look what’s coming from south
  5. Mega, just need to be included now and can be a lot happier today
  6. Radar looks to be pushing things a bit more north now snowy, might get lucky in next 15 mins
  7. I'm praying showers turn sightly more to the south from current direction. Totally missing out and eastantrim says, moira down the road getting hammered.
  8. Yes mate, looks like shows going to continue though today. If the streamers could just move another 15 miles north I would be in the game, just wind here and green fields. My dad sent me a picture of there garden in lisburn, must be 6 inches.
  9. AMBER warning for county down, antrim and armagh. Would say south antrim, all of down and into armagh based on current radar
  10. I'm dead centre of that line sperrin, I counted 6 snow flakes on the roof of the car this morning. Water to house frozen, electric flickering and flight to london cancelled.......fan f@#king tastic start to the day.
  11. Mournes will be getting a serious pasting ms, streamers seem to have followed that line nearly all day. Can’t believe we have had nothing so far, like literally nothing at all, nout, zilch, nada, zero, diddly squat, stained glass window all......I could go on
  12. Deep and further east on 18z this run, if it could keep tracking east it would give the south a belter and the north a good chance
  13. I still wouldn’t put much ‘£’ on where this low is going to track and how. 18z has it slightly further east and a bit more north now?
  14. mmmmmm....touch and go ms. GFS seems pretty confident on the track now, its been positioned similar (ish) for the past couple of runs. Bad news is.....my flight to london tomorrow still running....flight home better be on
  15. If you compare the ppn around the low on Friday its about 200 miles further east on the 6z today than it was on the 18z last night. It seems to split and part travels up the irish sea but breaks up quite quickly as it nears the isle of man. The south and east of ireland should do well. Can't see us any further north than Drogheda getting any accumulations or causing any issues. Hopefully over the next couple of runs the low will track further north, but looking unlikely based on MetO forecasts.
  16. anyone else hitting F5 on the keyboard every 2 mins while watching the radar, even though they know it only updates every 5 mins? Really hope these Scottish showers reach us, bit of convection over the short distance of irish sea......then get an early day home from work
  17. If only the low would track another 400 miles north before its westerly track.....not to much to ask is it?
  18. Hopefully later we get the ppn passing over Scotland, things moving a bit more easterly this morning. All the forecasts are over the place at the minute, still no confirmation yet, that I can see, about Thursday into Friday.
  19. Hopefully it’s lit to the tits as it gives us up here nought
  20. Radars getting going.....could be an interesting night
  21. Was a cold day in Dublin today rochey, was snowing just before airport on my way down about 9am. The wind chill up on the roof of tallest building in Ireland was serious. Looks good for you guys end of this week. The guys on site where advised by metE that they expect 10+ cm on Friday morning and for us to advise our site team, apparently if it snows at all contractor shuts site
