we need the low to start going south a bit now, some worrying gaps in the precipitation on the radar. the low is too close to us.

just need it to head south as well, a touch. lol snow getting heavier, and it's blowing about. this could be memorable. especially when the winds pick up later.

not spoiling anyone's fun, just saying it as I see it, because i know not everyone has the radar the low is still perilously close to clipping cardiff, and if it does the snow WILL ease. if it pulls to the south though, as I believe it is forecast to do, he may well get a pasting. regardless, i think this event will be bigger than lots on here expected it to be.

yeah, you have a bit coming, but the centre of the low LOOKS like it may just clip you there. the activity in the centre of the low is not as intense. we need this low to start pulling away to the south slightly now, i think.

no, it's steaming towards you. these are fine margins here. it's all to do with where the centre of the low is. it will pass close to us, but i think we're the right side of it, JUST! this is going to be a close run thing to who gets a pasting and who doesn't.

don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but looking at the radar, there seems to be a gap in the snowfall for Newport, and sorry to say Jay, but the gap looks like it's going to go over you too. If you have the radar, take a look. has this system shifted westwards and slightly northwards as well? i thought you guys were in the firing line? Unless this system starts pulling south soon, you may well be out of luck here. i've got a feeling the valleys may get a pasting here. don't shoot the messenger!! :lol:

the NW radar is a sight to behold at the moment. a big lump of pink just steaming it's way toward us. should be an interesting night. Jay, it's knocking on your door mate. lol, as you can see!!!
