Get panic buying at Christmas so what hope in these circumstances? The media seem happy to stir things up to add to their circulation. At least on here questionable comments are queried and pulled apart so there is some possible balance.

At least nowadays you don’t have to be a passive smoker as well. Mind you is cigarette smoke good for killing the virus? Expect Twitter says so.

1000 seems a lot to me. Probably wouldn’t affect a lot of football games as the stands seem to be regularly almost empty. Too high ticket price?

Good point. Made a similar sort of comment a while back. Are they just in isolation? Very ill? Just being monitored and tested in the fight to find a vaccine?

wd40 sorry 4wd you hit your send button just before me. In addition possibly warmer weather causes people to be out and about with natural ventilation increased in homes etc. People will not necessarily be huddled to together in doors to keep warm an ideal situation for transference.

Hope all turns out ok. Never had the itch to globe trot much. Fortunately I worked from home for the last twenty years of my working life and only covered southern England.

Rang the surgery this morning to ask if my doctor could ring me back as I had a medication review. Appointments are a pain to make. She has just rung back and agreed all was ok so everything was re authorised. I then asked if she was wearing her mask, not that would do her any good. She said no and it would only last a few minutes anyway. The other thing you look a complete knob. Had to laugh.

At the moment people are being carted off to hospital in uk. Because they are seriously ill? To be quarantined? To be checked out and samples taken in the struggle to find a vaccine? Or what?
