  1. Disagree totally i'm afraid, today has been so much more useable weather wise,it is very 'nice' weather which i'm sure the majority would agree with! Weather preferences are subjective and each person has their own opinion, this is not being detached from reality its just their own choice. Seen a lot more people out today than last weekend but that may just be a coincidence. Also way more garden activity but thats probably down to just long grass!!
  2. What a fantastic morning, clear skies, back garden trees look like they've had a good snow fall with the amount of blossom on them, looking stunning(between the hayfever sneezing!). Would have to say probably a perfect spring day.
  3. So much better weather today for working, fresher and really easy to get on with things. Don't get me wrong a shocking day in many areas if your lucky enough not to be working, but working in warm to hot temps in a car is no fun. Hoping to be honest that this cool spell is not a sign of the up coming summer,we need the warmth and settled weather in the up coming months for all the normal people to enjoy!! Every season should be defined and this has proved so ni on impossible for way to long due to our total screwing up of our incredible planet.
  4. This weather makes working so much harder, mid morning and i'm knackered, banging headache and way way to hot,not my cup of tea at all, hope is on the horizon though so fingers crossed for cooling off soon.
  5. Air con set to come on today, the most expensive time of the year for me now!! It'll be windows shut and lovely cool breeze indoors today.
  6. Certainly each to their own,for me walking in 12c is much more enjoyable than 22c. No way near as tired by the end thanks to the lower temp.
  7. Bearable temperatures today, good clear skies ment the yorkshire countryside looked at its best. Much hotter would just ruin it,high uv,high pollen, high pollution levels make it very unpleasant . I know many many folk enjoy this time of year but jumping in and out of a 45plus degree car thats been stood is really not good, makes the working day so much harder. Not looking forward to the coming moths at all.
  8. Not a happy bunny,the misery starts,roll on autumn!!
  9. I suppose its everybody to their own,i find a warm May very, very uncomfortable, high pollen levels are a mare especially during the start of the season, to be honest it has to be my least favourite month if the temperatures creep up.
  10. Really not looking forward to this weekend, way to early for those type of temps, can tolerate them late may onwards, not at the start.
  11. Can't take anti-histamines due to being diabetic, need the windows open to keep the bedroom cool,so stuck i'm afraid in this awful season, next 2 to 3 months are a nightmare, really hate them. Long for autumn already!!
  12. Oh what joy this morning, woken at 6am by the gentle dawn chorus of the council cutting the grass outside my house and the slow dribble from my nose after about 5mins of continual sneezing. How can anybody not love this time of year!
  13. Hayfever kicking in now, hate, hate this time of year, counting the days till autumn.
  14. So very true, was out today in north yorkshire, second day of fantastic weather, why why not in in the winter months. To be honest never seen anything like it at this time of year,0c showing on the car, nearly 2 inches of snow over the road, coupled with pure clear skies and cloud formations straight out of a movie! Just so wished people knew how to drive in these conditions,i was driving a toyota landcrusier and slowed down but was still over taken!! so many accidents. Just hoping nobody got hurt.
  15. Just had the most fantastic drive up from London to Sheffield, every possible weather you could imagine, cloud formations were breath taking at some points,45min drive through driving snow at the end of april did feel a bit strange i must admit. Hugely enjoyable, really showed what proper weather can be like, sadly so often missing in the uk.
  16. Would be very surprised if this summer really produced any real long settled spells to be honest, think it could be record breaker for all the wrong reasons.
  17. Just hoping for a normal uk summer, several 25c spells, nothing touching that dreaded 30c mark,no humidity and the odd thunder storm....me thinks just a lala wish list but one can live in hope!
  18. Totally agree, colder weather is so much more useable and refreshing, hate those vile summer months waking up to 18plus degress c at 4am with the light streaming in your window, very very unpleasant.
  19. Stunning morning, gin clear sky,2c perfect for that sunday walk. Why can't all sundays be like this? And still no hay fever so double bonus!!
  20. Looking good for the weekend weatherwise, low temps mean low pollen! New record for myself,no sign of that dreaded hayfever yet,may it long continue. Very useable conditions.
  21. Sorry, find the new skin very cluttered, old version in my opinion was much more clear but i suspect i'm in the minority!
  22. Lovely drive over the woodhead pass this morning, driving snow, pretty tricky, nice way to finish easter!
  23. Liking the look of early spring,no warmth,dry and a cool outlook,perfect.
  24. Loved the walk in the fog this morning,it was such a lovely blanket of silence. But not for driving in one must admit!
