There seems to be a North/South divide in here. Here in the East Midlands, it certainly doesn’t feel ‘cold’ or even ‘cool’. I’d say it feels average, with it feeling warm in the sun and blustery whenever there are any sharp showers around.
Ironically it feels colder compared to when it was actually snowy, clear and frosty. Probably because we got the initial spring type warmth snap, followed by this dull, cloudy and cool weather.
A respite from all this wind and rain for the next 5 or so days before the rain returns from Tuesday for pretty much everyday after that.
Questions;
- Will the dry period be long enough to dry things out so that the ground isn’t so saturated?
- Is there any need for concern of further heavy rain which could cause further flooding?
