    Does anyone know roughly what time the snow/sleet/rain is forecast to reach the SE during Thursday? Are we thinking during the day or evening/over night?

    I bloody knew it!! Cancelled my annual leave so now at work by London Bridge. Great that we may see snow, but would rather have been at home as originally planned

    Well, after some thought, I've cancelled my annual leave today and currently on the train to London. You just watch winds veer ENE and dump a load of snow on SE London. You can thank me later for the sacrifice I have made! ??

    Very disappointed this morning to wake up to nothing in Bexleyheath but pleased for those of you that got snow over night. Kind of wish I didn't get sucked into all the hype of another 1987 or 1991 event as I've used 2 days annual leave planning in advance for snowmaggedon!! Still, I shall enjoy my leave today and hope we have a nice warm spring on its way!

    Now the winds have veered NE, I'm not expecting much in my neck of the woods over night as from what I can make out, the showers will push more SE than where I am (Bexleyheath). Certainly doesn't bode well for a Thames streamer tonight anyway.

    Was about to say the same! When giving a weather report could you all let us know your locations? Lightest of snow here in Bexleyheath, flakes are just wafting around and not doing much else! ?

    Thanks Nick. I went on the METO weather warning map for Tuesday and using my phones location (ie home in Bexleyheath) I am just about in the amber zone. I was just surprised it didn't cover more of SE London.

    Is the amber warning more for a mid Kent streamer or a Thames streamer set up?

    Looks like the cold will arrive, question is, will we get snow? It would be gutting to finally have an easterly only for it to remain dry!

    7am = woke up to rain. Went back to bed feeling disappointed. 9am = woke up to settling snow. Get in!!

    Does anyone know roughly what time the wet stuff will be arriving in this neck of the woods (be it rain/sleet/snow)? Are we waking up to it or will it arrive at some point during tomorrow?
