  1. Would've probably been worth it if I'd stayed up but chances of something closer today and further on this week and don't want to be tired because it's back to school today (year 11) and also in case I want to run after a Storm, if its got a shelf cloud, for example, later.

Edit : Checked the UKV and now I'm scared that its moved too far West for me to get anything now šŸ¤£šŸ™ƒ.

Here's the lightning from the event.

We were always lead to believe by the climate change goblins that Atlantic storms would be more ferocious due to a 'warming ocean'. Huge area of low pressure to our west now giving nothing but a bit of damp drizzle.

No doubt they'll put some of spin on it to say its as a result of global waaaaming.Ā

    Its an isolated event.

Do you not remember Storm Eunice earlier this year, or Storm Franklin which was quite damaging as well if I remember correctly. I have no idea of any statistics or anything though and those could well be isolated events. Also note that this was only meant to be talking about Hurricanes (I would think) because the heat aids more to thunderstorm development than it would to your typically Atlantic low pressure system development. In recent years Atlantic Hurricane seasons have broken record after record and whilst that may be due to outside factors, surely you have to admit some kind of climate change has to be involved as well.

According to alexa, thunderstorms tomorrow!Ā šŸ¤£

But in all fairness last time no one had storms in the forecast and she was right. (although i personally didn't get one, so someone will get a storm some where)Ā

There is a thunderstorm risk tomorrow but very general, I think it'll be mostly showers with some lightning flickers in it.

In fact there's a risk for the whole of next week pretty much, it never really seems to get that high though.

It's fairly frequent lightning every 30 seconds or so, seen about 8 flashes followed by some deep echoing booms.Ā

Wish I was there, maybe see if you could get some videos(please šŸ˜†)so it feels like we're there,us in the SE thread will get something to cheer about then (and those who are afraid of Storms will be glad to know that it's localised and pretty much only affecting Freeze and I don't think it last too much longer).

Blimey nobody has commented for how long? ..6 hours ..all must be dandy ,feels like the tumble weed of the south east is blowing down the forums halls ..pleasant I guess...but you see if we believe models that its going to change to a wet wet autumn ..climate change here seems you get everything or nothing...:(

Sorry haven't had that much time what with what's been happening in my life this week šŸ˜ƒā¤ lol. Am also thinking of writing a paper on how to make airports safer but that'll take me a long time so may be spending less time on here at least for the meanwhile (I guess I hope forever if we end up staying together because we both seem to be into as much as each other).
