  1. Yes certainly right time of year to peak those temps, hopefully the low stays west
  2. 06z is good, if the high to the east can keep the low at bay and we get stuck in warm flow , excellent outcome.
  3. The 06z GFS looks ok to me, the heat surge is still there just about towards the end of the run.
  4. Was always going to be a trade off, the Atlantic lows are great for drawing up southern warmth (if they get stuck) but once they become more mobile then inevitably we get the westerly pattern. Still all this change is 5-6 days out yet, could all change again :S
  5. 06Z - if that materlised , we could have one of the best thundery/southern warmth May since the 90's
  6. I managed to capture a funnel cloud in Shropshire this evening, was out on a bike ride at the time. pure luck.
  7. I think the lightning will increase dramatically in the next few hours - lightningmaps.org is showing this increased activity
  8. Wonder if the Bristol storm is a result of things cooling down like Tuesday and kicking off in later hours
  9. Thanks for the Bristol reports I was going to shutdown laptop for night, until I saw that post
  10. Some lovely convection around and still very warm temp not dropped.
  11. Over east Wales currently (the shower shown on radar around newtown)
  12. There is a bit of a cap in place at moment, once the air cools a bit more then it will go bang.
  13. Remember not all strikes show on map for elevated storms. Until it's completely dark expect to see flashes anywhere
