  1. Being a the veteran of the regional threads that you are, you should know that you have absolutely NO chance of seeing snow in Telford ,as the weather gods have decreed that Telford never gets interesting weather, just cloud & drizzle  Nice to have you back Radders, my old mucker, how much I've missed your optimistic take on snowfall possibilities! :winky:
  2. Could get very interesting on here later on today as the GFS06z upgrades snowfall potential for the west & north midlands with possibly up to 12 hours of moderate wintry ppn
  3. looking good for some snowfall for our region tomorrow night and into wednesday, unless you live in Telford or Stafford of course :winky:
  4. If he drives me around the bend twice in quick succession with his 'F1' quote, then does that make it a chicane?...
  5. Due to the fact that the winter season has drawn to an end thus a general lack of posts in the regionals, the smaller regionals have been combined with other regionals...in this instance, the north west regional thread was amalgamated into the north of England thread
  6. slate grey skies & chilly....back to normality...ho hum
  7. More hazy today, with a more noticeable breeze thus cooler....still lovely though.....back to cloud and cooler temps though tomorrow onwards I fear
  8. Another cloudless day today, & 70F for the 4th day on the bounce.....lovely, just lovely!
  9. Yes, we need some spanish plumes to deliver the Harrods type storms as opposed to the popcorn single-celled Lidl's/Aldi type guff we normally have to put up with!
  10. Yep, stunning today...not quite as warm as yesterday currently, but still very nice....No high level cloud today so azure blue skies as opposed to hazy
  11. Yeah, I photoshopped the whole thing, in fact it was a lovely clear evening with just a few cirrus wisps!
  12. May 9th last year must have been a figment of my imagination....as was september 23rd the previous year, 2 of the best storms in the country in the past couple of years
  13. No, we've probably slipped into an alternate reality
  14. 13.3 definitely a sperious recording Mark...is your station calibrated correctly?.......most stations within a 20 mile radius were recording 17-21C during peak heating today
  15. Need to watch out for the locals though...don't they all have webbed feet or something (so Frankie Boyle told me), or is that Norfolk? :winky:
  16. Well, that's enough plugging for me! :winky:  I'm always available, just need folks to chip in with diesel...My potential chase region is drawing a line from say Crewe south to Gloucester, across to Milton Keynes and up to Nottingham....(and besides I can also see a few customers en route to earn a few quid...lol)
  17. wall to wall sunshine, 71F, cold beer, and BBQ chicken sizzling away in the garden....perrrrfect!
  18. Overnight fog being burnt away rapidly, already feeling warm outside....I wonder if somewhere near here might break the magical 70F barrier today?
  19. a lovely day today, warm & lots of sun...I was working down in Cawston (nr Rugby) and it was actually a pleasure working outside
  20. Lovely start to the day with some warm sunshine.....should be the warmest day of the year so far and stay dry until the overnight period where there's just the chance of a few showers encroaching from the south...Weather09 has been posting in the 'convective discussion' thread on the shower threat, worth having a read... http://forum.netweat...ost__p__2283283
  21. I'm too far north and east Sean....should be just above Blizzards
  22. more cloud around here than this time yesterday, but still pleasant
  23. yes, working fine now, thank you Paul
  24. Certainly interested in helping out Lewis, I'm often chasing all over the midlands during the summer time
  25. I've been trying to access from the NW archive my thread from last years May 9th storm...Viewing the thread and my youtube footage is fine, but I get the error message "You do not have permission to view this attachment" when trying to view the photos which is rather odd as they're my photos...lol......any clues?...cheers edit, here's the link... http://forum.netweat...nkridge-090511/
