  1. Can people please include their locations if posting photo’s/snow reports as those on phones are unable to see them. Thanks

  3. Read the Met Office update for our area...looks like overnight tonight is good for Kent.
  4. I think it can help Ellozee, in the same way it does in the summer when the heat of the sun aids convection and storms.
  5. Morning Woke before the alarm and looked out hoping it’d snowed but nothing...still feel the disappointment like I did as a kid! Currently cloudy, windy and -2.2c, DP -7c The MO update looks good for Kent & Sussex..
  6. Much cloudier here now and the wind has gotten up again. Currently -0.6c, DP -6c
  7. Still -0.4c with a DP of -6c in Hawkinge Some thin high cloud here now too. The moon had a halo, last time I looked and you could only see a couple of the brightest stars. And the wind has dropped a bit at last!
  8. Hello! I love the fact you are a weather nut too...Tom thought I was funny with my weather fascination (everyone does to be fair lol) I'll be relying on your reports when snow is coming towards me from Dover direction
  9. Stay here! I love that it's busy because of the snow excitement but I don't like when we have to split the threads...you miss out on some of the banter I think.
  10. I'd imagine if their own model stands firm with regard to snow on Thursday into Friday then they'd add a warning at some point tomorrow?
  11. Dew points around the region now - http://www.meteociel.fr/observations-meteo/point-de-rosee.php
  12. I was also studying that it looks like the 6cm colouring? I'd take that as a starter!
  13. We had around 10" here in Hawkinge (far SE Kent) off of a NE'ly streamer that swung a little ENE in February 2010. It snowed for almost 24 hours and proves that, while the rules above are generally correct with regard to steamer activity, not always to be taken as gospel.
  14. A high of 1.8c and now dropping - currently 1.4c with a DP of -5c. Some photos from a very chilly walk up behind the village earlier..
  15. I've decided I'm in the amber warning zone. Positive thinking works on the weather right?
  16. Morning Low overnight -1.4c, now -0.4c with a dew point of -4c. Still quite windy so our walk shortly will be a cold one! Really hoping to see enough snow to have at least one snow day this week (although I’ve a feeling work expect me to walk in from the hills to work over 3 miles each way - downhill there and uphill back!) and wait for everyone’s updates throughout the day! Good luck today @TomSE12
  17. Yep, I'm giving it a rest in there for a couple of hours as it annoys me too much!
  18. Same...already it's like the hokey cokey in there and we're still 6 days away. I think that the models were having similar issues with this timeframe 6 days ago?
