  1. Here has been sunny pretty much all morning. Mist and fog never really affected us. Warm. 14c.
  2. Your not missing anything really though unless moderate rain is your thing. Wednesday/Thursday do look much better though now with the best of the instability right over the West Midlands region pretty much. Sadly as early as yesterday it was beginning to look like today was beginning to slip away from us. Tony on UKWW pretty much got it bang on.
  3. What utter tripe. Just because it shows the unsettled option or what you want? Im sure you wouldnt say that if it was the other way round. Obviously im not discounting the ECM. For all we know it may be right but what evidence have you got to support the ECM?
  4. Night time? Looks like all is dying off for today now. Bit disappointing for the Midlands so far but oh well, more chances this week.
  5. I would say the storm risk for the Midlands is currently looking quite low now - seems mostly confined to W wales but its still fairly early days. Quite warm out there despite the light rain presently. Impressive for the end of March!
  6. Very respectable GFS 12z churning out now. Lots of light southerly breezes bringing relatively warm uppers in some more temperatures of 15-21c for many beyond the weekend.
  7. Sat24 suggests the light rain over the Midlands may clear soon, may give some late sunshine. Meto rainfall prediction seems to think Worcestershire and environs may see some good downpours this evening.
  8. Indeed very unlikely any storms will affect the SE today but i think there is too much cloud affecting the Midlands now. Might have problems getting things going here but if they are elevated in nature that may not affect things too much.
  9. I have a feeling those of the coast of Wales/Ireland are meant to be from the Lundy/North Devon Coast storms? Blitzortung says so at least.
  10. My bet for a storm later is somewhere around Ludlow and Wrexham. Could get interesting here too but well see.
  11. Already had the chance to sit in the garden this afternoon with the warm sun. Was very pleasant.
  12. Still sitting out in the garden now. Very pleasant. Sun is shining.
  13. Not to forget the risk of thunderstorms being modelled tomorrow. NMM in particular going for some rather impressive values. Possibly quite slow moving too. The midlands looking at greatest risk perhaps anywhere from Leicester to West Wales and Bristol to Manchester looking a good shout tomorrow afternoon. Risk for the south coast tomorrow morning too
  14. Met office West Midlands and South West forecasts acknowledging the thunder risk tonight and tomorrow.
  15. I have never seen 10 before. Not sure I've even seen it above 7 before.
  16. Ants, bumble bees and lots of butterflies out today here. 19c and hazy sunshine though a little Cloudier recently from some clod advection from France.
  17. Conor most of the cloud is now associated with cloud in the south east coming out of France. Might actually clear a bit soon as there is a kink in the cloud on its western flank. No where near as cold as 13c here though. 18c presently
  18. Risk if some thundery imports tomorrow morning? Then the afternoon and evening look good tomorrow and Wednesday and Thursday in particular. The S/SEE winds look to favour the West Midlands and parts of Wales in particular.
  19. Unlucky you lot. Some haze here but the sun almost constantly out and 19c. Less wind than yesterday thus feeling even warmer. Brilliant day
  20. I do agree somewhat there. I would be quite happy with BST all year. Though I dont mind the earlier dark evenings especially in Autumn as it adds to the Christmas festivities but thereafter, Im craving for light and warmth!
  21. Bit OTT that  wrt to champagne etc. I could argue its just as unnatural to see it dark at 4pm in December... But still, each to their own I guess. For sure, most will get about as normal, but just like some enjoy the dark (!?!?), many will enjoy the opportunities lighter evenings bring too.
  22. True in June its quite good anyway but still, we dont get to enjoy it for long so BST helps a bit more. We spend enough time indoors in this country complaining we want to be outside! As for point 3, wheres the evidence for that? Surely it must be a very minor increase if so? Being a Sunday, it must be easier, just to go back to sleep or lie in...
