  1. Nice one. The Met Office have put the South East of our region under a Yellow for the afternoon/evening.
  2. Just got back in. No rain really, just the odd spot. Bumped into my birdwatching mate on the meadows and we saw a Hobby, which I wouldn't have spotted. The Swallows, Swifts and House Martins were having field day with the midges on the river. Then on the way home, I saw a wet fox in the field carrying a trout. It saw me, dropped the trout and ran off. Then when I moved on, it came back for it. Here's the fox's fish... And here he/she is in the distance, coming back for it. .
  3. I suspect we'll just end up with a drizzly mess. At least I hope that's all we get, as I'd like to go for a wander at 5. Got soaked this morning.
  4. Yeah, Sat24.com shows that on the latest images. Still cloudy here, but it looks brighter to the South.
  5. Euro4 is going for some pokey showers down South later on this afternoon and into the evening. Other models seem to vary from nothing to a fair bit less. Suppose it all depends on the Sun showing it's face later on to the South East. We shall see.
  6. Heavy rain here now as the rain band pushing in from South East has met the NNE to SSW surface winds. It looks pretty cool running through the radar animation.
  7. Lovely down at Southbourne. Here's the view towards home and the cell that prompted a trip to the beach.
  8. Chucking it down here. Guess who's just put his concrete footings down.
  9. I'm waving... There's another small cell heading South of Fordingbridge. I'm going to get wet again in a minute. Edit : Beautiful now, so back outside, and we won the Cricket, and I've now got a pint.
  10. It's on there now. Over Whiteparish way... Just showery rain here, but plenty more to come looking out West.
  11. Tromso is beautiful. We were there in Oct '17 and saw the first snow of the season falling. It's also a great base for trips to see the Northern lights. We'll definitely go back. It'd be a fantastic place to take a van and just dash about. You can camp anywhere, apparently.
  12. Yep. It's a bit annoying. I was just about to fire up the mixer, as I'm trying to lay my patio wall footing today. Looked up and could see it coming, so just had time to cover up the cement and dash in. Looks like a line of showers are on the way now. ?️
  13. Yep, it was this one, I think. We've had a decent amount of rain here, but nothing flashy.
  14. Not at all. Our garden's enjoying it. Then maybe a bit of fun for some of us later. https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/warnings-and-advice/uk-warnings#?id=9cb1fea2-3ea9-468c-9c9d-9a105fc9a2ff&date=2019-06-07
  15. Not surprised at 8 quid a Pint. I think I'd spend all my time playing outside. If you're lucky enough to travel up North, say hi to the Sámi people for me.
  16. Yep. All sorts going up around here and over your way. Edit : Moderate/heavy shower moving through now.
  17. The shower above fizzled out, but we did pick a bit of rain from the next one in the line as it moved up from Purbeck.
