Restriction of movement on most peoples in europe, Israel monitoring telephone calls, large build up of military on Belgium/Netherland border, irrational fear of shortages fuelled by whom, gatherings of groups of people starting to be restricted, state controlling who works and when, i.e. who has money and who has not, watch for restrictions on internet and social media next

UK population 66 million. To develop herd immunity 60% of population to become infected. Death rate of those infected at a very conservative estimate of 1%, all countries reporting much higher figures, will give total UK deaths of approximately 400,000 a sobering thought.

There will clearly be a lot of power outages tomorrow, folks should also prepare for no electricity for several hours maybe longer depending on how widespread. Elderly neighbours etc

Good point. I doubt any sporting fixtures will go ahead within the amber warning areas. Hopefully the organisers will consider the dangers people will be putting themselves in travelling to such events.

Nice covering here in Northants just 40 miles to your south and still snowing. Our third snowfall of the winter and certainly not one of the worst winters in the east midlands. Chin up it can and will get better.
