  1. I'm at work haha. I can't hear any thunder no - currently sat under the green and blue detritus from the Winchester cell, but there's no rain reaching the ground here. It's just slate grey and quiet.
  2. You can see anything pushing north/through towards Andover weakens and fizzles. Everything passing through to the south. Guess I need something to fire around Guildford to have a chance of anything. Yawn.
  3. hmmm I'm not too sure - main storm motion appears to be straight west. Might get a moderate shower at some point but I genuinely can't see blandover getting anything more than that today.
  4. Yes seems very slow moving. Skies are darker in that direction but owing to the general clag, impossible to make out any structure whatsoever.
  5. All the action is looking worryingly far south - I hope things begin to fire deeper into North Hampshire.
  6. Looks like something firing to the south-east of Winchester heading directly for you and then me after!
  7. You can quite clearly see the brighton cell go up as the cloud form the south east bumps into the convergence zone. Would be hilarious if I'm too far north for storms today.
  8. Anyone concerned about that cloud steaming in from the south east?
  9. Sun is coming out here now and already feeling quite juicy.
  10. Also - this crappy cloud needs to do one so we can actually get some surface heating popping.
  11. My little take for today. Convergence zone looks like setting up around/just north of the M4 later this afternoon which should fire off thunderstorms from Cambridgeshire across the southern Midlands into South Wales. Showers breaking out north and south of here, but less "severe." My target zone for anything beastly would be around Oxford.
  12. Having a cheeky glimpse at Arome earlier suggests storms moving slightly to the north of me, east to west to you guessed it - Wales.
  13. Fingers crossed but you know the convergence zone will set up along the m4 and storms will move north west.
  14. Lol if you run the radar loop of the Winchester storm it literally collapses as it reaches Andover. You couldn’t make it up. Right that’s me done. Enjoy those up north. All eyes on tomorrow. Last chance.
  15. Even the tiniest hint of mammatus here on the back edge.
  16. I would really like a clap overhead to seal the deal haha.
  17. Stunner. Reminds me of July 2017? (The year summer finished in July).
  18. I just got quite wet in the garden in a little downpour. Smells amazing out there now.
  19. Some grumbles and a moderate downpour from the Whitchurch storm as it passes to the east of Andover. The petrichor smell is wonderful! All eyes on tomorrow then, the METO update was ok if not spectacularly
