    I’m out of the no storms club after being sat underneath a cell at kingsclere. Torrential rain and fairly frequent thunder and lightning. Drove to Whitchurch to get out from underneath it and get a better view of the cell over Basingstoke way but as soon as I got here there was one CG, one loud boom and then it blew itself out. Standard.

    Just drove to kingsclere through the most insane weather conditions I’ve ever driven in. Flashes of lightning under this thing

    Explosive convection to the north of Andover has given me two faint rumbles!

    Nothing. I can see the rainshaft though but nothing as yet.

    The cell over Winchester is really not much to look at.

    Something going up over Winchester now - going to head out with the dog for a bit.

    Signs of things starting to maybe happen now. Very small return over Basingstoke way and the Ludgershall supercell is growing.

    Alas, it appears to have done the opposite of course! Little glob going up over Ludgershall way. Doesn't look much from the window.

    Cell near Ringwood has reinvigorated - hoping the Petersfield one can follow it's example.

    Yeah, I keep seeing turkey towers go up and I get optimistic but then they collapse almost as quickly.

    The only positive I can see is ragged mid-level crap appears to be diminishing and the clouds are getting a bit of height to them.

    Petersfield cell seems to already be losing intensity:(

    Looks a good bet - IF it can not die out. Doesn't even have to be a direct hit for me, just within 5 miles please
