    It doesn't look like it's going to reach our shores any time soon, it seems to be rotating east to west and not moving north at all, or very little at best looking at the 1 hour 5 minute radar loop. Not very hopeful atm It also seems to be weakening. It's gone from having lots of red in it, to orange/yellow with no red or white in an hour.

    Looking at the radar, there's every chance it could either miss us completely or hit us directly depending on how far east the wind pushes it as it goes north. Here's hoping!

    Looks like some showers are bubbling up around bristol, the wind has picked up here in swindon, things are looking good for around here already!

    Here in Swindon, there's a faint smell of rotten eggs in the air. Eerily quiet as well with no flights overhead.

    Just woken up here in Swindon, looked outside and it's beltng it down with snow! Got 1-2cm settled on everything but roads atm! :lol:

    Well just got back to Swindon, on the bus now and it's still miserably raining. Oh well. Edit: just seen the post above, heavy what? I'm on queens drive and it's just rain here.

    brightened up in bath now, light drizzle. Had a period earlier with heavy rain with some pretty big sleet flakes mixed in but other than that, nothing. Been told that it's a winter wonderland up on lansdown though!

    Few flakes of sleet mixed in with the rain now in bath, not many though.

    Had some heavy snow in bath earlier, was coming down heavier than i'd ever seen with great big flakes too. Only lasted 10 minutes though, but still was nice to see!

    As confirmed by Ian, On the train this morning from swindon, noticed that the hills by wroughton and lyneham had snow lying whilst swindon had nothing, although my gf reported a few flurries back in the town at about 8:30 once I got into bath where we just had heavy sleet for a short while and it's been rain since.

    In chippenham now and it's just started snowing, very small and wet flakes though compared to Swindon. I suspect it'll just be rain in bath.

    Heavy snow here in Swindon. Settling everywhere except on the roads. Off to work in bath in a bit so shall report from there soon!

    Richard on bbc points west just highlighted the risk of snow on wednesday for gloucester and wiltshire, although I'll believe it when I see it tbh
