    Is it true that MeteoGroup only use the ECM? My WeatherPro app definitely uses a blend of the big three, and it’s the same company.

    If we get snow again this weekend, that will be three weekends in a row with lying snow in Epping Forest. Not too shabby!

    In my back yard: absolutely stupid criticism/cliche used by weather-nerds to attack those who are interested in the weather in their own area! Crazy, I know!

    IMBY is the worst weather-geek cliche of all time. I mean, all weather is local, especially snow. Nothing wrong with wanting the snow near you. Sets my teeth on edge when I read that phrase “IMBYism”, very much hope you get snow in your back yard mate later in the winter.

    Yup. Superb day. Epping Forest got smashed and was absolutely beautiful in the snow.

    All round fail for the models. GFS was the closest. The so-called hi-res models were in chocolate fireguard country. Absolute cannon fodder.

    I got beeped today for stopping at a roundabout for three seconds to literally clean my driver side window so I could actually see what was coming! Some people are just idiots.
