    I always say get up to Epping Forest, High Beach or another slope in the forest with decent elevation. I had good tobogganing up there last Saturday morning, before it all went. Dunno, BBC 2328 forecast is awesome for us. We shall see!

    The BBC 1228 forecast looked like an upgrade for our region. Snow throughout London, even as far as the south midlands.

    Epping Forest looking good so far. Elevation and lack of UHI effect should improve snow retention. It usually gets 2-3cm more than E17. Head for west facing slope at High Beach. But, we shall see...

    Thanks, the hope is we have longer under darkness to cool off. The main band of precipitation is only at the border right now so we do have a bit of time!

    Loughton weather station on the streets on the edge of Epping Forest showing 1c / -1.0 dew point. Epping Forest itself probably slightly colder.

    Epping Forest looking like a decent shout tomorrow morning mate. High Beach area is usually 2-3c colder than E17 and often records much better accumulations. Take a walk / bike up there for your daily exercise!
