Very stormy night, and the winds are still quite strong today. There was a lot of heavy snow showers overnight too, so I was quite surprised to see very little lying this morning, maybe it was more lying snow being blown about. We are still getting the snow showers too, but they are quite light now.

I wish it would make its mind up here. One minute sunshine, next rain, then sleet and 5 mins ago I'm certain there were a few tiny (emphasis on tiny) flakes.

Feels cold, but as Father Christmas failed to meet my request of a weather station I have no idea of any vital statistics.

Very squally yesterday evening with heavy showers of 4-7mm hail and a gust of 77 mph at 2113. Showers turned to heavy snow around 2300, 2cm lying at midnight.

1.5cm snow lying at 0900 this morning. A few light snow and hail showers this morning, otherwise dry with a few sunny intervals and a f5-6 W wind.
