Very hot gusty winds NW lies 34C today! Winds are now turning to SE'ly now as it getting cooler, nice freshening air!

Here we goes, the weather charts, forecasts and models indicated very potential wet week ahead or even 2 weeks through few days in November! Check Brisbane forecast out! Rain periods and thunderstorms, still very warm to hot and sticky! Wow! I think it the hint of Brisbane might get water again? Here we might get tons of rain and widespread thunderstorms, i think severity might be high or even a little due too much moisture. If one of these days have alot of cloud cover and rainy alot, i guess there will be embedded thunderstorms.

Here Brisbane forecasts:

Monday Mostly fine Min 16 Max 24

Tuesday A shower or two Min 16 Max 24

Wednesday A few showers Min 18 Max 26

Thursday Late rain Min 19 Max 28

Friday Rain periods Min 19 Max 28

Saturday Rain periods Min 19 Max 29

Here Northern Rivers forecast:

Monday: Fine partly cloudy Min: 15 Max 26

Tuesday Few afternoon showers Min 17 Max 26

Wednesday Afternoon shower/storm Min 18 Max 27

Thursday Thunderstorms Min 19 Max 30

Friday Heavy rain/thunderstorms Min 20 Max 27

Saturday heavy rain/thunderstorms Min 20 Max 30

Looking good for us!

If it was anything like the beginning of this week, it'll be 27ºC and sunny with bits and bobs of cloud. Although it is now officially the rainy season, and this weekend was forecast to deliver some much needed rain...

Hi Matt, good thread this :) .

What will be the likely conditions for the 1st Ashes Test in Brisbane (starting Nov 23rd).

Can we expect hot sunshine then thunderstorms late in the day? I seem to recall that

being the case in Brisbane in prevous matches.

2 Seriously strong storm cells 1 about 50km nnw of Brisbane, the other about 100km south. radar image is awesome. I wish I could post the radar, I have rarely seen the darkest colour on the Bureau's scale, to see it in 3 locations on the same image is unbelievable.

This is a close up on the cell 100km south of Bisbane, thanks to bokkey from weathezone.com.au

We had powerful storm this arvo with numerous wind gusts and max gust was 100km/hr! Rainfall was incredible! I think i saw mircobursts flow in too! I got photos and vidoes of it, i will put them up soon. The gust front was boiling fast forward movement! Now going to be rainy night here and possible storm, i think severity is gone.
