    With all the rainfall from Storms since the beginning of May, dont know where to put this thread but would like to challenge anyone that they cant get near to these totals, in fact some places have had more in a few storms than I have collected here in the entire year.

    So please put down your 6 totals and total them at the end, dont make them up, if you have a local reporting station within 10 miles then use that instead.

    January 2007 # 44.2mm

    February 2007 # 67.6mm

    March 2007 # 32.2mm

    April 2007 # 0.8mm :o :wallbash:

    May 2007 # 62.2mm

    June 2007 # 20.2mm

    Yearly Total of 227.2mm or just over 9 inches in old money. If we get enough will make a league table out of it.

    Feb 07 = 63mm

    March 07 = 38mm

    April 07 = 0mm

    May 07 = 87mm

    June 07 = 84mm

    Total = 323mm - a little under 13 inches in old money.

    Amended stats for Colchester, my original source was not reliable, a huge error for March 2007 so have disregarded all the stats from that station. (Thanks Paul :o )

    Feb = 121.5mm

    Mar = 63mm

    Apr = 10.5mm

    May = 159mm

    June (so far) = 60mm

    Total = 523.5mm

    June is well on the way to being the 6th month out of 8 to have 100+mm of rain!

    In fact, had the heaviest showers/storms not missed this week it may have already got there.

    just a quick total, its 230.0mm so far.

    Mind you I believe my rainguage under reads, due to a very protected back garden, by about 20%, so add 1/5th to that!

    Updated for the end of June. There may be more before midnight but I'll pop it onto July's figures as am too tired to stay up and find out <_< .

    Since the post I made a week ago the June total has almost doubled (gone from 60mm to 114mm) and it is quite an amazing figure when considering there was nothing in the first 10 days!!

    For Westbury, Wiltshire...
