IF CAUGHT OUTSIDE COVER YOUR HEAD AND GO LIE IN THE NEAREST DITCH

REMEMBER FLASH FLOODING FROM EXTREME DRIZZLE IS THE NUMBER 1 KILLER IN THE UK. TURN AROUND DONT DROWN.

Good luck with tonight getting that 1st UK lightning shot. At least you won't have to deal with anything too dangerous - being 200 miles away from that severe drizzle.

A friend of mine on Facebook is currently announcing thunder and lightning with very heavy rain in Exeter at the moment. The radar looks promising for that area with a long line of rain spreading down passed Exmouth into the Channel.

Makes me alugh how everyone at the start of the week was like "yaaay heat", and now everyone is desperate for the Cold front to move over. Interestingly the surface low is moving Eastwards at quite a rate and I can see thin cirrius moving in from the South, perhaps the cold front will swing up from the South rather than coming from the West. :lol:
