I noticed a few flakes of sleety stuff in the headlights glare whilst driving through Rawnsley, Cannock, and the odd wintry splat on the windscreen, but apart from that, mainly drizzle.....Dewpoints and surface temps are generally on the rise across England & Wales..T850's are not very condusive to widespread snow, so for all you peeps up in the hilly parts, enjoy it whilst it lasts, because rain is on the way!

Yeah think it's mainly rain down here, wasn't expecting anything anyway.

Light sleet here, melting snowflakes hitting the window :pardon: More rain than snow though I would say. 2.9°C, down 0.5°C in the last 20 mins :pardon:

EDIT: I'd say it is 60% rain and 40% snow approx.

Very cold day here with a high of 2c during the day and a very strong south wind making for very unpleasant conditions for working outside.A few wet flakes of snow this evening, but now dry and currently 3c. Ground still partially frozen after last nights frost of -3c and gritters out in force on the roads this evening. Winter seems to be sticking in and the first of our local holly trees with a large crop of berries has been stripped bare by the birds.

It's actually snowing in Dronfield now with some big flakes thrown in :pardon: bearing in mind Dronfield is only at about 150m even lower than that in some spots wasn't expecting it.

You lucky lot that are seeing snow!

Those that are not may still get some though, never know, could be a night of rain, sleet, snow then rain again. :pardon:

Good luck!

I see on the front page of net weather there is talk of some wintry stuff on higher ground during thurday.

Is there any real potential from this?
