good grief young man where the devil have you been through all the cold and snow?

mainly light snow here 1730-1945, stopped just now, correction just restarted, just about a covering on most horizontal surfaces.

after another moderate burst its stopped again, the NW radar was very good with the darker shade showing almost moderate snow; got another 1cm, so all told 2cm, not much by many standards but farily unusual for this part of the world since about 1997 (January). It is the 3rd day with snow and, come tomorrow morning it will be the 7th consecutive snow lying day, at 9am, ground more than half covered, as per Met O definition.

Snow from around 3pm. Quite light at first, but started to settle around 5pm. Heavier bursts after 6.30 & eventually 2cm, before turning to light drizzle around 8pm & then dieing out.

Been snowing lightly here now for last 3 hrs. Got about 1 cm here but expect it will be a bit deeper further inland as i'm only about a mile from the coast.

Snow falling here at the moment, sticking too. Seem to be on the northern edge of the storm, so not sure how much further north it will travel, temp 0.1oC, and pretty windy
